**Position Purpose:**
Develop and implement media strategies and public relations plans to engage and educate external audiences on Centene's mission, vision, goals and progress. Promote local, regional and national awareness of Centene's policies, values, and mission to a diverse audience including the media, general public, government and healthcare communities.
+ Ensure the media distribution of press clippings are timely and efficient and cover all relevant areas, issues and subsidiaries

**Education/Experience:**
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field. 2+ years of media relations, public relations, or communications experience. 4+ years of media relations, public relations, or communications experience preferred. Experience working in a managed care, insurance, or healthcare environment preferred. Public or media relations agency experience and experience with monitoring tools is a plus. Outstanding communications skills (oral, written, and presentation). Excellent organizational and planning skills; ability to work quickly under pressure, managing and prioritizing multiple assignments.
Pay Range: $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per year
Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.
