McLeod Health is expanding an established Electrophysiology Cardiology program on the coast in North Myrtle Beach, SC.
Currently, there is one EP physician, with another joining this Summer, and a Nurse Practitioner, aiming to grow the practice to three physicians in total.
Features include a new state-of-the-art EP lab (two in total) within an expanding department.
McLeod is seeking an Electrophysiology Cardiologist interested in growing a practice with a team of highly-skilled specialists in one of the fastest-growing counties in the country.

Responsibilities and highlights include:
- Two EP physicians and one dedicated EP Advanced Practice Provider
- Providers rotate lab and practice time, promoting work-life balance
- Lab located at McLeod Health Seacoast, within walking distance to the practice
- No EP call, and EP will not be required to take general cardiology call
- Dedicated EP lab time

- Practice hours: Monday-Thursday; early closing on Friday

Job Description
A rapidly growing, multi-state clinical research site network is seeking a Medical Doctor (MD/DO) to join our team as a Medical Sub-Investigator . This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with seasoned psychiatry and neurology Principal Investigators on late-phase, industry-sponsored trials exploring novel treatments for psychiatric and neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead medical safety oversight for assigned trials in collaboration with the Principal Investigator (PI)
- Conduct medical evaluations, safety assessments, and adverse event (AE/SAE) reviews
- Monitor vital signs, lab results, ECGs, and other safety data
- Manage medical concerns and escalate to the PI as needed
- Perform or supervise study-specific procedures such as physical exams, neurological assessments, infusions, sub-Q injections, and psychiatric/neurological interviews
- Review and confirm participant eligibility against medical/safety criteria
- Oversee use of concomitant medications per protocol guidelines
- Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation
- Participate in monitoring visits, audits, and inspections
- Collaborate closely with study coordinators, raters, and site staff to ensure smooth study flow and participant engagement
Requirements
- MD or DO with an active Massachusetts medical license or able to get one
- Specialties welcomed: Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Neurology, Anesthesiology, Sleep Medicine
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work with diverse populations, including geriatrics
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative, multidisciplinary research environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Preferred: Familiarity with clinical research methodologies, GCP, and regulatory compliance (no prior research experience required—training provided)
