Position Summary:
The Ambulatory Physician will provide direct clinical care at MMG primary care sites. This provider will be expected to rotate to different sites on an as needed basis. This position is meant to provide primary care coverage at sites where a provider is on leave or has left the practice and the position has not been filled by a permanent replacement.
Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited US residency program in a primary care specialty; Current valid NYS license; BLS certification
Specific Accountabilities:
Primary Care Coverage
i.Provide primary care coverage as directed by Regional Medical Director at specified MMG location(s). A typical schedule for the full-time role includes 2 locations per week.
ii. Direct clinical care for patients as a primary care physician, including the assessment, evaluation and management of patients
iii.Manages patients as an attending primary care physician
iv.Participates in site's clinical QI/ PI activities during days/ hours at the site
v. Clinical Hours: as posted for primary care physicians at MMG
vi.Call coverage: assigned to coverage pool
vii.Administrative responsibilities: includes Epic in basket coverage as expected for primary care providers including but not limited to:
