Under the direction of the Clinical Director, National and Federal Services, the Special Events Medicine Clinical Specialist oversees Clinical and Education Services activities for CrowdRx, Motor Sports, and GMRs Contingent Workforce and will be responsible for the creation, implementation, and tracking of credentials, education, and training programs. Many of our staff will be working at high-profile events like the US Open, LIV Golf Tour, Coachella, RBC Brooklyn Half Marathon, TCS New York City Marathon and more! They'll also be stationed at iconic locations such as Madison Square Garden, Yankee Stadium, Chase Center, and The George Amphitheater. From providing large-scale medical care at some of the nation's largest venues to assisting with hurricane relief efforts, our team is always at the forefront of action and service.
Responsibilities:
- Travel approx. 30% travel is required. Must be able to travel on short notice to austere conditions for disaster deployments
- Assist in recruitment and hiring, Conduct New Hire Orientation Classes
- Conduct clinical quality reviews and investigations
- Interfaces with Medical Directors to review Patient Care Guidelines
- QA/QI review of patient care reports
- Clinical point of contact for providers
- Credential database upkeep and review
- Work is performed in an office setting, conditioned and unconditioned warehouse space, and extreme weather conditions for disaster response activities. May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Works alone or with others for extended hours. Critical thinking skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Qualifications:
Education & Industry Experience
- Certifications: Paramedic (current), ACLS (current), BLS (current), PALS (current), EVOC Instructor, Safe Stretcher Handling, AHA Instructor (preferred, must obtain within 6 months of hire date)
- 2 years as an active field-based Paramedic, FTO or CES (preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute strategic objectives in an efficient manner delivering positive results for the organization. Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
