The Montefiore Wellness Centers are a large, University affiliated, substance abuse treatment program in the Bronx, NY. Each center provides substance abuse treatment and psychiatric services as well as on-site primary medical care, including HIV and Hepatitis C care. The program has a well-established and long-standing affiliation with the Departments of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Medicine and Family Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Montefiore Medical Center. The position includes leading weekly interdisciplinary case conferences, providing evaluation and ongoing psychiatric care, and participation in quality improvement activities, with opportunities for teaching of medical students and house staff as well as collaboration in research.
