Position Overview:
As part of the talented Quality team, you will be engaged in a variety of functions that include anything from daily assignments up to annual obligations. The position is mostly autonomous where you will decide the priorities to accomplish the dynamic and various tasks. Teamwork skills are a must to gain cooperation amongst the various teams within the plant, the campus, and the external customers. The Quality team is a centralized organization for the campus; however,, team members are assigned to a primary plant. In this case, you will be assigned to Plant 17, our Die Cast and Lost Foam casting facility.

Essential Functions:
· Participate in cross-functional walk throughs
· Lead ISO9001 activities to maintain 3rd party certification
· Drive completion of PFD, PCP, PFMEA, and PPAP submissions
· Interface with internal / external customers to improve current processes
· Plan and adjust work priorities to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and annual goals / metrics

Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Quality or Manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications:
+ 5 years of manufacturing experience
+ 2 years of quality-related experience
+ ISO9001 background / experience
+ Die Casting, Lost Foam Casting experience
+ Problem solving skills (Red X, Six Sigma, Lean)
Working Conditions:
· Conditions may include heat exposure and a high ambient noise level.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $72,000 - $15,300 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.

As part of the talented Quality team, you will be responsible for support and facilitation of the quality system in the machining process to assure ongoing improvements in quality performance and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the plant departments to ensure continuity in company quality objectives, eliminating process waste and reducing variation. The Quality Engineer will work with employee teams and managers while exhibiting a professional and cooperative attitude. Experience with machining processes for aluminum materials is a plus. This role supports First Shift while working 7am-4pm, Monday through Friday.

+ Ensure quality support in engine component manufacturing to meet plant objectives.
+ Lead root cause analysis, process improvements, and product rework using formal quality tools.

+ Support PPAP, capability studies, and MSA for assigned components.
+ Investigate internal complaints and improve control methods for timely resolution.
+ Analyze data trends to identify improvement opportunities.
+ Conduct internal audits to verify process, product, and ISO compliance.
+ Manage and review quality documentation (SIR, deviations, FMEAs, Control Plans, NCRs, etc.).
+ Coordinate quality spills, including containment, sorting, visual aids & quality alerts.
+ Uphold health and safety standards across all work environments.
+ Collaborate with suppliers & sister plants.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
+ 5+ years in complex machining/manufacturing environments.
+ Skilled in RCCA, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, GRR, ISO 9001:2015, and formal problem-solving.
+ Proficient in GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
+ Experienced in metrology and measurement techniques.
+ Highly organized; able to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
+ Hands-on approach to shop floor problem-solving and process improvement.
+ Proficient with building strong stakeholder relationships.

As a Global Supply Chain Intern you will work collaboratively and independently with supply chain and operations professionals. You'll work together and be responsible for managing suppliers to meet the supply chain requirements for the needs of the production and manufacturing of outboard and sterndrive motors for the recreational boating industry.

As part of the talented Quality team, you will be responsible for support and facilitation of the quality system in the machining process to assure ongoing improvements in quality performance and customer satisfaction. + Promote and ensure quality activities in manufacturing and support functions to ensure plant quality objectives are met
+ Deliver quality support to production with an emphasis on engine component machining
+ Execute root cause analysis, consistently drive to reduce defects and lead product rework efforts; distinguishing common cause from special cause to tailor problem-solving methods
+ Drive process/quality improvements using formal methodologies
+ Ensure appropriate collection of quality data, analyze the data for trends, identify corrective action opportunities, and drive corrective action activities
+ Coordinate part inspections as required & work with internal audit teams to ensure ISO procedures are being adhered to
+ Provide an immediate communication bridge to production supervisors on status and resolution of quality issues that arise in machining as a top priority

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, or another related field
+ Minimum of 6+ years of experience as a Manufacturing or Quality Engineer
+ Knowledge of PPAP and Process FMEA activity for both current and new product launches
+ Familiarity with GD&T; strong ability to read & understand blueprints, tolerances & symbols
+ Experience with Statistical Process Control, auditing & ISO 9001:2015 Quality Systems
+ Experience with Metrology & measurement techniques, & ability to interpret CMM data
+ Good written and oral communication to communicate with all levels of the organization
+ Ability to have a hands-on approach at shop floor level, working with individuals to determine the "what is" and "what it should be"

**Quality Engineer - Assembly**
**Position Overview:**
As part of the talented Quality team, you will work with outboard assembly product lines with an emphasis on cowling assembly, and report to the Assembly Quality Manager. The main role of this position will be to maintain quality assurance procedures, practices, and standard evaluation methods that ensure product quality and integrity to minimize process variation.

+ Work to support manufacturing by reducing process or product variation, using root cause corrective action methods
+ Lead formal problem-solving projects including completion and documentation of corrective action requests

+ Perform dimensional inspections of parts utilizing calipers, micrometers, and other hand-held gauges
+ Recommend design changes or improvements in production methods through FMEA or other methods as appropriate

+ Lead manufacturing's non-conforming material process as required, and identify scrap reduction opportunities
+ Organize quality spill resolution, including part sorts, containment activities, and creating quality alerts

Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or related technical discipline required

+ Must be detail oriented, with the ability to pay very close attention to specifications
+ Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and basic statistics
+ Proficient knowledge of PC software including Word, Excel, and Power Point
+ Working knowledge of pertinent assembly manufacturing and inspection techniques
+ Possess both verbal and written communication skills to effectively present data and information to management
+ Ability to guide supervision in making proper decisions relative to product and process control issues

**Connected Operations & Analytics - Systems/Software Engineering Co-op**

As a Systems/Software Engineering Co-op on the Connected Operations and Analytics (CO&A) team you will play an integral role in supporting systems, application, and analytics development for Mercury Marine Global Operations. We are looking for a self-starter with passion for data-driven culture, analytics, and systems/application development.
Working in a partnership with subject matter experts the CO&A team is responsible for connecting, collecting, analyzing, and publishing data from operational equipment and systems within multiple manufacturing plants. This work will help digitize Mercury's manufacturing process. This Co-op position will support Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Industry 4.0 (I4.0) initiatives. Initial responsibilities will be focused on backlog of feature development for ongoing projects in CO&A iterative/agile workflow. Role provides opportunity for expanded responsibilities in Systems Engineering, Project Management, APIs, Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, Database Administration, Data Science/Engineering, and Advanced Analytics (ML/AI) development.

**Essential Functions:**
+ Work with full-time team members located in multiple different operational plants, assisting with projects and analysis
+ Collaborate with Systems and Analytics Engineers, Controls/Automation Engineers, Architects, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers across the business per project
+ Connect, collect, and analyze data come from different types of operational equipment
+ Utilize SQL queries to help retrieve data stored in databases (on-site and cloud/Azure)
+ Create operational dashboards, data visualizations, and reporting
+ Create Realtime Dashboards via Ignition by Inductive Automation
+ Historical (trending) via Power BI by Microsoft
+ Develop software applications to help collect or deliver data to many manufacturing personnel throughout the organization
+ Participate in regular updates with management within the different plants
+ Data processing and analysis with scripting languages (R, Python)
In addition to a great hands-on learning experience, you will also acquire the skills needed to:
+ Work within an agile/scrum/iterative workflow to meet timelines
+ Prioritize feature development driven from business value
+ Effectively and quickly collect and analyze data coming from IIoT devices and manufacturing equipment
+ Understand data storage and retrieval processes in large-scale manufacturing databases and business systems
+ Analyze data and make recommendations that effectively improve process costs
+ Effectively express your ideas, influence people, manage potentially contentious situations to a positive result and communicate with employees at all levels of an organization

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Current enrollment in a BS program with a major in Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant degree with a controls/systems/analytics emphasis
+ Ability to quickly learn Ignition (Inductive Automation) and Power BI (Microsoft) software
+ Minimum second semester sophomore status with 48 completed credits
+ Availability to work full-time (40 or more hours per week) through a full co-op term running January to August 2026 or June to December 2026
+ The ability to enroll in a formalized co-op Program through your university
+ Dependable, self-motivated, and engaged learner
+ Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
+ Permanent US Work Authorization required

+ Feedback and Performance Reviews: As a co-op or intern, you will receive feedback and performance reviews throughout your assignment. We value the importance for interns to understand their progress and areas for improvement.
The anticipated pay range for this position is $18.00 - $7.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate offered will vary depending on multiple factors including year in school/credits earned, degree, job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
