General Description:

We're looking for an outgoing, creative marketing intern to support the marketing team in promoting the dining program at Miami University. This hands-on role includes event planning and setup (including some evening events), editing graphics, supporting analytics, updating content on Dine on Campus, and helping with social media by filming and generating content ideas. You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager, take part in project ideation, and gain real experience across a wide range of marketing activities.

The Requirements:

* Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

* Familiarity with social media platforms

* Strong interpersonal skills and creativity

* Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.)

* Prior marketing or event planning experience is a plus

* Ability to work some evenings for event coverage

Job Responsibilities (May include any or all):

* Assist with planning, organizing, and running events

* Help with updating the Dine on Campus hours of operation page and other content

* Support social media content creation (filming, idea generation, posting)

* Edit graphics and promotional materials

* Support basic analytics and reporting

* Act as a brand ambassador at events

* Manage signage across campus

* Attend meetings and support general marketing duties as needed

Learning Objectives:

* Develop marketing skills in a hands-on, dynamic environment

* Learn how to plan and execute successful events

* Gain experience with content creation, social media strategy, and analytics

* Understand how to maintain and update digital platforms and brand messaging

Job Summary

This position is paid, but not eligible for benefits such as medical, relocation, or housing.

Because this position requires you to perform services in an educational facility, there may be periods when the Company does not require you to perform work (such as winter and summer breaks when food service needs decline or cease). Any such periods during which you do not perform work on the Company's behalf may be unpaid and deemed a temporary layoff. However, depending on business needs, you may be required to work year-round, potentially at a different location during break periods. Business needs may vary from year to year.

**General Description:**
We are looking for a motivated and people-oriented person to work closely with the Chartwells Management Finance team. The key focus areas for this internship will be in Field Accounting, Operations, Budget Management and Payroll. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to apply the skills they have learned and apply them in a professional setting.
**Qualifications:**
- Must be pursuing a degree in accounting or finance majors
- Must be undergraduate student
- General interest and knowledge
- Computer skills including intermediate level proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and drive for excellence and high performance.
- Strong desire for continuous learning and process improvements in working with people and technology.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, listening and verbal communication skills

_Field Accounting Experience:_
- Review Contracts for Entry into Database
- Review Charitable Contributions and audit receipts
- Conduct Payroll Accrual Validations
- Review activity on Closed Cost Centers
- Maintain Maintenance Requests from field operations
- Conduct Paperwork Audits
- Assist with Monthly Close
_Operation Experience:_
- Assist with Local New Unit Openings under the Guidance of FA New Business
_Finance Experience:_
- Support Budget Review and Analysis

_Payroll Experience:_
- Gain Knowledge of the Paperwork and Activities of the Team through Filing
- Gain Knowledge of Document Retention through Scanning
