Our client, a leading-edge semiconductor manufacturer, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Process Engineer to join their state-of-the-art facility in Boise, Idaho . This role is critical for optimizing and troubleshooting complex manufacturing processes, improving yield, and ensuring the highest quality standards for semiconductor devices. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of semiconductor fabrication techniques, advanced problem-solving skills, and a commitment to driving continuous improvement in a high-volume production environment.

- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for semiconductor fabrication, focusing on yield improvement and cost reduction.
- Analyze process data using statistical methods (SPC, DOE) to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot process issues, conduct experiments, and implement corrective actions to maintain process stability and product quality.
- Collaborate with equipment engineers to ensure optimal performance and reliability of manufacturing tools.
- Write and execute process qualification and validation plans.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
- Monitor key process metrics and provide regular reports to management on performance and improvement initiatives.
- Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities, supporting the transfer of new processes into high-volume manufacturing.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and support.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in semiconductor manufacturing technology and process integration.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Lead cross-functional teams to address complex manufacturing challenges.
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in process engineering within the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes (e.g., lithography, etch, deposition, diffusion, CMP).
- Strong proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Experience with process simulation and modeling tools is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., JMP, Minitab).
- Experience with cleanroom protocols and safety procedures.
- A proactive approach to process improvement and continuous learning.
