SAIC is actively interviewing for multiple Sr. Military Analysts to support the Army Futures Command, Futures and Concepts Center (FCC) at Fort Eustis, Virginia. The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing the threat and future operational environment, developing future concepts, requirements, and an integrated modernization pathway to increase lethality and overmatch, enabling Soldiers and units to compete-and, if necessary-deploy, fight, and win future wars.
The Sr. Military Analyst will work within FCC's Futures Integration Directorate (FID) and support all nine divisions within that directorate. This role requires subject matter expertise and analyses for capability development, gap analysis, and experiment planning and execution, with a focus on ensuring requirements align with the overall strategy for building the future Army force of 2040. Coordination and communication within the FID, as well as with other organizations within FCC and AFC, are critical components of this position.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct thorough analyses to support concept development, capability gap assessment, and experiment/exercise directives and objectives for the future Army force of 2040.
+ Work closely with government personnel to determine information collection requirements and identify specific tasks for analysis.
+ Partner with experiment/exercise support teams and customers, including other military agencies, industrial partners, and educational institutions, to facilitate planning and execution of experiment efforts.
+ Provide doctrinal expertise across all Warfighting Functions (WfFs), particularly in infantry and armor operations, in support of analyses.
+ Research and incorporate data from a wide range of sources, such as military policy, AFC campaign strategy, war plans, etc., in support of future force development endeavors.
+ Participate in FCC experiments and simulation exercises, including the Future Studies Program (FSP) and FCC's Capstone live prototype demonstrations across multiple locations within CONUS.
+ Collect, assemble, and analyze information inputs to evaluate the completion of mission tasks and achievement of FCC objectives.
**Qualifications**
**Required Education and Experience:**
+ Minimum of 15+ years of experience serving in a U.S. military agency as military or civilian in progressively responsible command and staff positions, with a bachelor's degree. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
+ U.S. Army Futures Command experience highly desired.
+ Infantry or Armor experience.
+ Active Secret Clearance.
+ Possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience in at least three of the following areas:
+ Service or joint doctrine, to include maneuver, maneuver support, fires, intelligence, signal, or sustainment operations.
+ Extensive experience with service or joint staff organizations, functions, and procedures.
+ Experience with service or joint organizations, operations, and exercises at levels comparable to Army Division or higher.
+ Preparation and conduct of Course of Action briefs, seminars, or commander's initiatives group updates for general and senior field grade officers.
+ Serving in TRADOC or FCC as a military member or civilian in the areas of Army concepts, integration, or capability development.
+ Compilation and presentation of materials in both written and oral formats in support of general and senior field grade officers.
**Desired Experience:**
+ Graduate from Command and General Staff College.
+ Completion of Defense Acquisition University course in Requirements and/or Capability Development, such as RQM 1010, RQM 1011, or CLR 250, or Capability Development Course.

+ Identify gaps in learning and provide lessons learned, best practices, and current tactics, techniques & procedures for Commanders and their staffs.
+ Leveraging real-world situations and applying advanced intelligence analytics to identify, assess, interpret, and developing future training and support exercises by which the warfighter can be more agile, adaptable and flexible in all complex environments or multi-domain battles allowing the warfighter to be more prepared to understand and operate in a joint operational environment when the time comes to deploy.

Travels throughout their state and/or region, as directed, and is responsible for all aspects of the support of events that increase awareness of military community services. Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to collaborate with existing family support resources, identify recommendations to address service gaps, and form relationships with community service providers, military services, and regional and local representatives.
+ Provides Service members and families with the highest level of support to include information and referrals for events to increase awareness of military community services including, but not limited to, relocation assistance, non-medial individual and family counseling, personal and family life education, Personal Financial Management (PFM) services, information and referral services, deployment assistance, exceptional family member services, child abuse prevention and response services, domestic violence prevent and response services, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) services, and transition assistance, when requested and approved by the Government.
+ Attends various community events and meetings to bring awareness directly to the military community.
+ Identifies problems and/or gaps in available services/resources and determines methods to fill gaps and enhance existing support system efforts, in collaboration with Military OneSource, DoD, State Joint Force HQ, and civilian community resources.
+ Facilitates collaboration between military and civilian agencies to improve coordination.
+ Provides detailed briefings and training to share information that brings related groups together (e.g., unit/command members, staff, volunteers, etc.) when approved by the government.
+ Collaborates with military and civilian personnel and other departments to develop presentation and training materials.
+ Maintains an online repository of state-specific information on Government approved family programs and support resources.
+ Provides guidance to team in adherence to planning, policies, and practices. Mentors junior team members as appropriate.

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of 4 years relevant experience. Master's Degree preferred.
+ Minimum 15 years of experience made up of a combination of at least 10 years of prior military experience or relevant knowledge plus an additional 5 years' experience working in Military Service Programs and marketing, sales, recruiting, education, or other similar networking-intensive work.
