**JOB SUMMARY:**
This position is for administration of supplier functions outside of normal PO placement and delivery activities. Interacts closely with suppliers and QA to resolve quality issues and maintains working relationships with strategic supply chain partners. Designs and implements business metrics to monitor, track and report sourcing project progress. The job requires considerable contact with both company personnel and vendor representatives

Responsibilities
+ Responsibility for managing a substantial Capital Expenditure budget supporting Supply Chain and Operations functions. Duties include preparation, analysis, and variance reconciliation on the Capital Expense budget. Analyses to include actual results to forecast and budget.
+ Lead collaboration with functional business partners in supply chain, treasury and accounting to ensure integrity of financial results as well as forecasts and plans.
+ Identify risks and opportunities in capital spending and assist in developing action plans
+ Develop, generate and present reports on a weekly and/or monthly basis; design and create ad hoc reporting

Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required including 5 plus years professional Finance/Accounting experience

Individual must be organized and disciplined in the collection of key information to develop the forecast in an accurate and timely manner. About the Role:

HUSA’s end-to-end supply chain is long and extends from breweries in Europe and Mexico through ports, 9 warehouses, 500 distributors, and hundreds of thousands of retailers in the US. **Supply Chain Operations Internship:** In this role you will be responsible for key elements involved in supply chain related daily operations. This may include materials management (forecasting, planning, fulfillment, logistics, and distribution) and sourcing (strategic commodity management, contract structuring, negotiation, supplier management) within your assigned site. This internship is a great first step for those interested in our OMLP program after graduation.
Essential Responsibilities
Our Supply Chain organizations combine passionate people, cutting-edge technology, and a culture of continuous improvement to provide the highest quality products to our customers. Members of our team are part of a fast-paced and dynamic environment. They typically have the benefit of getting hands-on experience with our products. In either internship experience, you'll be expected to:
+ Learn and understand state-of-the-art methods of manufacturing,
+ Support manufacturing and repair processes for component hardware and/or overall engine assembly,
+ Maintain high-quality standards via risk assessment, root cause analysis, corrective action, and the application of statistical controls
+ Ensure safe work conditions via Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives
+ Learn and apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to drive productivity, on-time delivery, process capability, and stable operations in our increasingly complex and demanding environment
+ Supporting delivery efforts for sourced components by working with our shops and suppliers while building project management skills, negotiation skills, and business acumen
Qualifications/Requirements:
+ Minimum 3.0 cumulative G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale without rounding
+ Attending a full-time registered and nationally accredited bachelor or graduate program (accepted majors are listed below)
+ Willingness and ability to work in any of the 35+ GE Aerospace U.S. locations
+ Reliable transportation, as many of our sites do not have public transportation available
