Job Description
As an Assistant Museum Curator, you will support senior curators in the research, development, and execution of exhibitions, collections management, and scholarly publications. You will be involved in various aspects of curatorial work, from object research and cataloging to exhibition logistics and public programming. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong academic background in art history or a related field, excellent research skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for the arts and cultural preservation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct extensive research on artworks, artists, historical contexts, and cultural significance for exhibitions and collections.
- Assist in the planning, organization, and installation of temporary and permanent exhibitions.
- Prepare exhibition texts, labels, object descriptions, and other interpretive materials.
- Contribute to scholarly publications, exhibition catalogs, and educational materials.
- Assist with collections management, including documentation, inventory, and condition reports.
- Facilitate loans of artworks to and from other institutions.
- Support public programming initiatives, such as lectures, tours, and workshops.
- Respond to inquiries from scholars, researchers, and the public regarding the collection.
- Maintain and update collection records in the museum's database.
- Collaborate with conservators, registrars, educators, and exhibition designers.
- Stay abreast of current scholarship and trends in relevant artistic and cultural fields.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Art History, Museum Studies, Curatorial Studies, or a closely related field. PhD preferred for some specialties.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a museum or gallery setting, preferably in a curatorial or research role.
- Demonstrated expertise in a specific area of art history or cultural studies relevant to the museum's collection.
- Exceptional research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Proficiency in at least one foreign language (depending on collection focus) is a plus.
- Experience with museum collection management software (e.g., The Museum System - TMS).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel for research or exhibition-related purposes as needed.
- Passion for art, culture, and public engagement.

Job Description
- Develop and enforce effective credit control policies to minimize risks from credit sales.
- Assess customer creditworthiness and monitor financial health regularly.
- Track and manage aging reports, ensuring timely follow-up on overdue accounts.
- Lead the end-to-end collections process to ensure prompt customer payments.
- Design and implement collection strategies, including follow-ups, payment arrangements, and dispute resolutions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to address and reconcile account discrepancies.
- Manage and guide a team of credit control and collections officers.
- Set KPIs, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching and development opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships with customers to support open and effective communication on payment matters.
- Handle payment-related queries and disputes with professionalism and efficiency.
- Generate regular reports on collection status, aging, and performance for senior management.
- Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements in credit and collections strategies
- Ensure all credit and collection practices align with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Identify potential credit risks and adjust policies proactively to mitigate them.
- Work closely with sales, finance, and other teams to support business objectives through sound credit management.
- Contribute to projects that improve processes and drive operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in auto finance, factoring, unsecured lending, and property-backed loans.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in credit control and collections management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong understanding of credit management principles, financial analysis, collection techniques and legal compliance.
