The LPN or RN will provide direct nursing care to the residents and will perform the day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing the facility, and as directed by the Director of Nursing Services, Assistant Director of Nursing Services and Administrator, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state licensure requirements.
- Must speak and understand English. - Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care.
- Positive attitude toward the elderly.

**Location:** 1000 WATERMAN WAY, Tavares, 32778
**The role youll contribute:**
Provides vocational nursing services under the supervision of an RN, to patients in their homes.
**The value youll bring to the team:**
+ Performs nursing skills safely and competently.
+ Performs patient data collection in a holistic manner.
+ Provides accurate and complete documentation.
+ Schedules daily visits to facilitate patient needs.
+ Plans patient care in consultation with Registered nurse.
+ Assists with patient/caregiver teaching.
**The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:**
**Minimum qualifications:**
+ One (1) N year of medical/surgical experience.
+ Currently licensed in the State of Florida.
+ Certified in Active American Heart Association BLS and Infant/Pediatrics.
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ One (1) year experience in community health nursing preferred
+ Thirty (30) hours of Florida Board approved IV Therapy Course.
