Telemetry Registered Nurse(RN)
The TelemetryRN is a highly skilled and compassionate nursing professional responsiblefor providing specialized care to adult patients requiring continuous cardiacmonitoring. This role demands strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, andthe ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition. The RN worksclosely with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to deliversafe, effective, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties andResponsibilities
+ Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients on telemetry
+ Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical exams, health histories, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
+ Continuously monitor telemetry and respond to cardiac rhythm changes, alarms, and arrhythmias
+ Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
+ Document patient responses and changes in condition accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
+ Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and adjust individualized care plans
+ Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, medications, and discharge instructions
+ Maintain adherence to infection control, safety, and quality standards
+ Respond promptly to emergencies such as arrhythmias, rapid deterioration, or code situations
+ Advocate for patients and uphold confidentiality and patient rights
Minimum Requirements
+ Current Registered Nurse License in the state of practice
+ Minimum one year of professional nursing experience; telemetry experience preferred
+ Completion of Amergis' Competency Program (if applicable)
+ Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
+ Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring
+ TB screening and health clearance (as required)
+ Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
+ Successful completion of new hire orientation and telemetry training
+ Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
+ Strong communication skills and proficiency in English
+ Basic computer literacy
+ Must be at least 18 years of age

As a Nursing Assistant Trainee, you will carry out our Mission of Love by performing various resident care activities and related non-professional nursing services.
Our Nursing Assistant Trainees are responsible for the following:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, i.e., bathing, hair car, nail care, mouth care, feeding, back care and toileting. Perform any of the procedures included in NA training manual. Follows instructions from the RCR and RNP. Completes and documents all care as assigned accurately and in a timely manner. Assist residents during meals as indicated, feeding those unable to feed themselves, serving and collecting trays. Replenish ice and water in resident rooms as needed.
- Transport residents using a wheelchair or assist resident to ambulate to activities or special appointments, i.e., PT, Podiatry, Beauty Shop, etc.
- Assist licensed personnel with special treatments, i.e., catheterizations and enemas, etc.
- Take vital signs, TPR, and blood pressure; record Intake & Output; empty and change catheter drainage bags as directed.
- Observe residents and answer call bells in a timely manner to determine residents' needs. Report any unusual conditions or reactions to supervisor. Take appropriate action as requested or required by the situation.
- High School graduate preferred, but not essential.
- Must hold current Nursing Assistant certification or participate in on-the-job orientation leading to certification (required).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
