We are looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Las Vegas, NV to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients' homes in accordance with a physician established care plan.

This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient's residence. The current scheduling needs for this role are:

Weekdays or Weekends, 12 hour shifts on Days. Typically 7am - 7pm.

Responsibilities

    • Work with the patient in their home to provide one-on-one service in a comfortable and familiar setting
    • Assist with the patients' activities of daily living as well as personal care
    • Provide companionship care and basic emotional or psychological support
    • Adhere to the patient's established plan of care
    • Execute the physician prescribed plan of care and maintain compliant documentation of care provided in the system of record

Minimum Qualifications

    • Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move patients

    • 1+ years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a clinical or home health setting

Responsibilities ofRegistered Nurses (RNs)

  • One-to-one nursing care in a home environment
  • Medication administration per physician orders
  • Physician ordered treatments for:
    • Nutrition via a feeding tube
    • Tracheostomy care
    • Suctioning nasal, oral and/or endotracheal
    • Ventilation care
    • Seizure assessment and treatment

Requirements for Registered Nurses (RNs)

  • Current, active NevadaRN license
  • Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
  • G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
  • Fluent in English

With locations in Colorado, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, Florida, Oregon, Washington, California, Wyoming, New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania, the Care Options for Kids Community offers a wide range of pediatric health services, including pediatric nursing and therapies, ABA therapy, nursing, Family Caregiver Services, and school-based services.

*Bonus for eligible cases only. The eligible employee will receive $00 for every 250 billable hours worked up to 2,000. Eligible employees must complete the pre-onboarding process within 10 days of submission of the initial application. Valid for first-time employees only and on completion of all required documents. Parents and/or Guardians of a Care Options for Kids clients or a potential Care Options for Kids clients are not eligible to receive a bonus.
