Requirements of the Staff Registered Nurses (RNs)-Nursing Home:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work as a team member with the nurses and nurse aides. Understanding of the behavior and needs of elderly people. Ability to communicate effectively to the residents, families, visitors and staff. Accuracy in documentation is essential.

Qualifications of the Staff Registered Nurses (RNs)-Nursing Home:

• Must have current New York RN license
• Must have a valid New York RN license
• Must have experience in long term care
• Must have prior RN experience in a nursing home setting
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• New Jersey Department of Education Standard Instructional School Nurse Certificate preferred, or proof of enrollment in an Instructional School Nurse Certificate Program

Union Position - Salary range up to $53/HR based on licensure/shift

Day & Evening Shifts Avaialble

Responsibilities:

• Provide bedside care
• Administer medications and document therapeutic effects
• Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration)
• Assist with resident comfort
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas
• Collect samples and monitor catheters
• Help coach staff as necessary

Qualifications:

• Must have Long Term Care experience
• Must have New York LPN or RN license
• Must have prior experience as an LPN or RN

• Perform in-home care assessments in accordance with New Jersey Department of Health guidelines.
• Answer and respond to patient calls and clinical questions during assigned coverage hours.
• Report to the Agency Director any complaints from patients, family members, or service providers, and document them accordingly.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly to the appropriate medical personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, infection control policies, and regulatory standards.
• Continuous availability during the hours the agency will provide services to clients.
• Provide assistance in ensuring the agency policies are being followed by all staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times in line with HIPAA regulations.

• 250 per week for on-call coverage, Monday to Friday (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM & 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM)
• 250 per weekend for on-call coverage, Saturday and Sunday
• 100 per clinical assessment or patient visit
