The 142-bed full-service hospital is located in Washington and has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center. Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant II performs specific responsibilities under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. Functions within the framework of the NAII listing granted by the NC Board of Nursing. Practices within the philosophy and goals of patient care services. Active NAII listing with North Carolina Board of Nursing is required.

Current American Heart Association HeartSaver or higher certification is required.

De-escalation training (Non-violent crisis intervention or other de-escalation program adopted by ECU Health). If not current at the time of hire must complete within 90 days of employment and maintain without lapse during employment. This is not required for Ambulatory clinical positions.

• Our Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant-STNA in Ohio) work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care, and give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
