Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) under supervision, provides basic nursing assistance and assists residents with daily living activities.Qualifications: Education:

+ Evening shift
+ Includes every other weekend Saturday/Sunday and holiday

+ Assists resident based on individual care plan with personal cares such as; bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, showers and responds to call lights
+ Nursing Assistant may per community patient care model check and record vitals
+ AM/PM/NOC cares; including peri care and catheter care
+ May turn, lift or transfer residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistance
+ Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear and concise manner
+ Chart or document in electronic medical record system
+ Seeks to resolve resident and family concerns
+ Receives and gives report to appropriate staff during various times in work shift
+ Other duties such as; order and cleanliness in rooms and work areas, reports malfunctioning equipment to maintenance department, and answers phones in a timely manner
**Required:**
+ Active as Nursing Assistant, Registered (NAR) on the MDH Nursing Assistant Registry by start date - OR- Individual who is hired into Ebenezer's Nursing Assistant Course or Ebenezer's Pre-CNA job for Nursing Assistants; will be granted a 4-month post hire to become active on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.)

+ Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric population
+ Communicate efficiently, with compassion and understanding for residents and coworkers
+ Experience working as a HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, and Resident Assistant
+ Work experience in a customer service setting
