**Job Description**
**Job Summary**
Molina Health Plan Provider Network Contracting jobs are responsible for the network strategy and development with respect to adequacy, financial performance and operational performance, in alignment with Molina Healthcare's overall mission, core values, and strategic plan and in compliance with all relevant federal, state and local regulations.
Responsible for contracting/re-contracting of standard deals, maintaining network adequacy, issue escalations and JOCs on exception, including standardized fee for service and other core payment method contracts with predefined, common programs.
Typically does not entail heavy negotiations. Minimal ongoing engagement after contract. Responsible for accurate and timely maintenance of critical provider information on all claims and provider databases. Synchronizes data among multiple claims systems when applicable, and the application of business rules as they apply to each database. Validate data to be housed on provider databases and ensure adherence to business and system requirements of customers as it pertains to contracting, network management and credentialing.
**Job Duties**
This role negotiates assigned contracts and letters of agreements with non-complex provider community that result in high quality, cost effective and marketable providers. Maintains tracking system and publish reports according to departmental procedures. Contracting/re-contracting of standard deals, maintaining network adequacy, issue escalations and Joint Operating Committees on exception.
- Initiates, negotiates, generates and tracks provider Letters of Agreement, contracts and amendments from initial draft to full execution utilizing approved standardized contract templates/amendments, including but not limited to Fee for Service and Basic Alternative Payment Methods including Pay for Performance.
- Assesses and negotiates contract language for ancillary providers including, but not limited to Behaviorial Health, Home Health, Hospice, Dialysis, Home and Community based providers. Ensure compliance with Corporate standards and regulatory requirements and review revised language with leadership based on feedback rom assigned MHI attorney.
- Assists Manager and/or Director in the negotiation of medical group/IPA and hospital contracting.
- Advises Network Provider Contract Specialists on negotiation of individual provider and routine ancillary contracts.
- Identified as contract system lead by developing and maintaining provider contracts in contract management software.
- Targets and recruits additional providers to reduce member access grievances.
- Supports network development throughout state to including researching, recruiting and negotiating with providers.
- Participates in the evaluation of provider network and implementation of strategic plans to meet Molina's network adequacy standards.
- Clearly and professionally communicates contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates to physician, hospital and ancillary providers.
- Assists in analysis and coordination of amendments, reimbursement, and language changes. Requests information of billing codes, services provided and other information needed to complete the contract profile.
- Coordinates preparation and routing distribution of documents to complete the contracting process in a timely and thorough manner according to standardized processes.
- Assists Manager and/or Director in the completion of Block Transfer Filings
- Facilitates and resolves claim and configuration issues with impacted departments.
- Communicates proactively with other departments in order to ensure effective and efficient business results.
- Trains and monitors newly hired Contract Specialist(s).
- Participates with the management team and other committees addressing the strategic goals of the department and organization.
- Participates in other contracting related special projects as directed.
- Travels regularly throughout designated regions to meet targeted needs.
**Job Qualifications**
**REQUIRED EDUCATION** :
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in health care field including, but not limited to, provider's office, managed care, or other health care field.
**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES** :
- 5-7 years previous experience in contracting with large specialty or multispecialty provider groups.
- 3+ years experience in provider contract negotiations in a managed healthcare setting
**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE** :
Knowledge of integrated delivery systems, hospitals and groups (specialty and ancillary) contracts highly desirable.
**STATE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS** :
Certified Recovery Peer Specialist certification required in the state of Florida

The Wellness Nurse is responsible for monitoring the health and well-being of our residents and provides leadership support and assistance with resident care and services. **RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS**
**Essential Duties**

**Coordination of Health Needs**
+ Identify on-going needs and services of residents in promotion of the highest quality resident services to be delivered.
+ Ensure proper follow through and participate with evaluation and documentation for residents with a change in health care services and status.
+ Assist Resident Care Director (RCD) in conducting resident evaluations and data gathers information at time of move in, 30 days post move in, semi-annually, and with any change in status.
+ Conduct monthly wellness visits for all residents.
+ Monitor and follow up with residents who have experienced any fall, accident, or incident and document and report as required and directed.
+ Document all pertinent information in the resident wellness file.
+ Maintain communications with resident's family and or responsible party to ensure medical needs for the resident are being met.
+ Contact resident's attending physician when necessary and/or upon family request.
+ Ensure weights and vital signs are obtained monthly for each resident.
+ Assist in maintaining wellness files according to Sunrise policies and federal and state/provincial regulations.
+ Maintain medical supplies and emergency kits for the community.
+ Provide clinical support and assistance to community team members as needed.
+ Understand and follow infection control practices.
+ Partner with the RCD and community team to promote infection control standards including any resident testing, training, and skills checks.
+ Understand and practice the proper method of attending to and disposing of and the possibility of exposure to blood borne pathogens, bodily fluids, infectious waste, sharp sticks, and hazardous materials in compliance with universal care precautions.
**Medication Programs**
+ Monitor each resident's medication and treatment profile regularly to ensure each medication and treatment is administered as ordered and documented accurately.
+ Transcribe physician orders Medication Administration Record Treatment Administration Record (MAR/TAR) to include initials, date and time 'noted', and date faxed to pharmacy accurately and promptly.
+ Complete MAR/TAR audit each month.
+ Demonstrate and is knowledgeable of the Six (6) Rights of Medication Pass ("Right" resident, medication, dosage, time, route, right to refuse).
+ Act as liaison for pharmacy services to ensure effective services for residents.
+ Monitor the Medication Room, medication carts, and treatment carts for neatness, cleanliness, availability of medications, and expired medications.
+ Complete Medication Observations and skills checks for medication care managers at the direction of the RCD.
**Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance**
+ Demonstrate and is knowledgeable in the following key quality improvement areas:

+ Actively participates in Sunrise Quality Assurance Meetings and Clinical Meetings

+ Maintain compliance in assigned required training and all training required by state/province or other regulating authorities as applicable to this role to ensure that Sunrise standards are always met.

**Position Summary:**

**Before a surgical procedure** :
+ Responsible for ensuring that the OR is set up correctly
+ Set up the surgical area, laying out instruments and supplies according to the surgeon's preferences
+ Checks all equipment needed during the procedure to verify that it's functioning normally
+ Verifies the patient's identity and necessary consent forms and then reviews the site and nature of the procedure with the OR team
**During the operation:**
+ Provides the surgical team with sterile fluids and medications as needed
+ Replenishes the surgical team's supplies if they need additional disposables or instruments
+ Patient advocate while they are incapacitated during surgical procedure

**Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital, 3 Lacks is a 32 all private bed acute care unit that serves patients that are 65 & older. A high acuity adaptable unit; regularly have patients who are on telemetry, cardiac drips, high-flow oxygen; bi-pap; etc.** Older adult can deteriorate quickly, so this unit requires a high level of assessment skills, comfortability with advocating for whatever the older adult patient may need. Our unit is considered a high acuity unit (because older adults require a lot of extra time and TLC) which makes 3L a very fast-paced unit. For this reason, we provide nurse directed care. Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital is a NICHE (Nurses Improving Care Health System Elders) exemplar organization (exemplar is the highest designation a hospital system can achieve). This designation is achieved primarily through the outcomes demonstrated on our Senior Adult Unit (3 Lacks) and through the partnerships we have with our Geriatricians (22 of them) and our Long-Term Care facilities.

Requirements
