Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Nursing analyst to collaborate directly with clients at a prominent academic medical center in the Midwest. This remote role will act as the primary subject matter expert and point person for multiple optimization initiatives for existing nursing applications built on the Oracle Health Millennium platform. These include, but are not limited to, multiple Essential Clinical Dataset (ECD) alignments, Critical Care workflow implementation, Multi-Disciplinary Rounding, and various nurse chart review and documentation optimizations. The ideal candidate will leverage their significant experience in both mapping clinical workflows and performing hands on build to assess current state and plan future state needs, communicate effectively with both their teammates and client stakeholders, independently research and ask insightful questions to understand objectives, and accurately configure Millennium in order to attain the desired outcomes, high client satisfaction, and alignment with model and best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT staff and end-users, to ensure seamless adoption of optimizations while minimizing disruptions.
Develop training materials, conduct virtual sessions, and offer ongoing consultation to support user proficiency and system utilization.
Monitor project outcomes, track key metrics, and report progress to clients and internal leadership.
Stay current with relevant Oracle Health Millennium updates, industry trends, and regulatory changes to inform proactive optimization strategies.
Required qualifications:
Current nursing license, with at least two years of experience in bedside care.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Informatics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Oracle Health Millennium (formerly Cerner Millennium), with a focus on nursing support and/or implementations in healthcare settings.
Hands-on experience with Millennium build, including, but not limited to, the Clinical Leader Organizer, Care Compass, IView, PowerForms, and MPages.

As a Charge Nurse you will provide onboard supervision of the nursing staff, administration of the ship's health center and provide direct and indirect patient care for both crew and guest!

**How You Will Make a Difference**
+ Provide inpatient, outpatient and ICU care onboard for guests and crew
+ Orients new medical staff and trains in areas such as EMR familiarity, shipboard emergency response, location of ACLS and AED equipment, AGE documentation and reporting, and equipment usage to include proper maintenance checks.
Responsible for the overall administrative management of the health center including:
+ Build and maintain on-call schedule for nurses
+ Supervise Medical Assistant completion of end of cruise reports and distribute to appropriate parties
+ Is responsible for preparation of all necessary reports including AGE, Unfit for Duty, Referrals, etc.
+ Maintain an adequate stock of medications/medical supplies
+ Check and maintain all medical equipment. Advising accurate parties when repairs are necessary.
+ Provide training for Emergency Stretcher Team
+ Coordinate and implement onboard health education in conjunction with medical staff
+ Triage emergency calls, assessing and treating on scene and transferring patient to shipboard medical center for definitive care.
+ Assist with implementation of crew immunization programs.
+ Responsible to oversee and assist with Public Health reporting
+ Additional duties include equipment checks, medicines and inventory management, participation in drills, audits, inspections, and training of other crew members.
+ Technical skills are learned and practiced on board, such as X-rays acquisition, and performing a wide array of laboratory tests and other procedures
**Basic Qualifications :**

As a Charge Nurse you will provide onboard supervision of the nursing staff, administration of the ship's health center and provide direct and indirect patient care for both crew and guest!
**You will report to:**
+ Chief Physician (Shore side)
+ Lead Physician (Shipboard)
**Responsibilities :**
**How You Will Make a Difference**
+ Provide inpatient, outpatient and ICU care onboard for guests and crew
+ Orients new medical staff and trains in areas such as EMR familiarity, shipboard emergency response, location of ACLS and AED equipment, AGE documentation and reporting, and equipment usage to include proper maintenance checks.
Responsible for the overall administrative management of the health center including:
+ Build and maintain on-call schedule for nurses
+ Supervise Medical Assistant completion of end of cruise reports and distribute to appropriate parties
+ Is responsible for preparation of all necessary reports including AGE, Unfit for Duty, Referrals, etc.
+ Maintain an adequate stock of medications/medical supplies
+ Check and maintain all medical equipment. Advising accurate parties when repairs are necessary.
+ Provide training for Emergency Stretcher Team
+ Coordinate and implement onboard health education in conjunction with medical staff
+ Triage emergency calls, assessing and treating on scene and transferring patient to shipboard medical center for definitive care.
+ Assist with implementation of crew immunization programs.
+ Responsible to oversee and assist with Public Health reporting
+ Additional duties include equipment checks, medicines and inventory management, participation in drills, audits, inspections, and training of other crew members.
+ Technical skills are learned and practiced on board, such as X-rays acquisition, and performing a wide array of laboratory tests and other procedures
**Basic Qualifications :**
**What You Will Bring to the Team**
+ Active nursing license from STCW country.
+ Nursing degree from recognized college or university from STCW country
+ The ability to provide a letter of good standing prior to embarking from STCW country
+ 2 Years recent professional nursing experience in general and emergency medicine or trauma care or critical care
+ 1 year of experience in a nursing leadership position
+ 2 years Maritime Medical experience
+ Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ALCS) Certificates
+ Valid accredited BLS/PALS/ALS/ACLS certificates prior to joining a vessel
+ Digital literacy, experience with MS Office programs and experience with electronic health records

**You must:**
+ Be genuinely interested in a career at sea and willing to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel
+ Be willing to follow and perform safety role, emergency responsibilities and associated responsibilities as specified in the ship Assembly Plan
+ Be willing to uphold the general safety management responsibilities as specified in the Safety Management System in areas and operations under their control
+ Appreciative of working and living in a multicultural environment that has strict rules and regulation
**Your Responsibilities:**
+ Have a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa (DCL will provide you with documents to obtain this)
+ Complete a pre-employment medical
+ Obtain a criminal background check
+ Bring approved work shoes
