* Average Census: 60 ADC
* Ratios: Nurse 1:20 | CNA 1:10 (days), 1:20 (nights)
* Bed Count: 88
* Acuity: High
* Length of Stay (LOS): ~15 days
* Support: CNA-heavy teams
* Orientation: 7-10 shifts with a preceptor
Job Summary
Under the supervision of an RN or LPN, the Hospitality Aide performs basic, non-clinical patient care activities that support our nursing staff and enhance the patient experience.
Responsibilities
* Make beds, pass hydration and snack, clean wheelchairs, and restock supplies
* Pick up and return water pitchers and assist with keeping rooms and common areas neat and orderly
* Observe CNAs as they assist patients with personal care and daily living activities
* Report any abnormal findings or changes in a patient's condition to nursing staff
* Support nursing staff by ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent (required)
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
* Strong judgment and critical thinking skills
* Compassionate and dependable team player
Physical Requirements
This role requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and assisting with patient and non-patient items up to 75 lbs. Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and communicable diseases may occur; all safety protocols and protective equipment are provided.
