Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager - Energy Services to help build and grow our Energy Services team in our Twin Cities, MN office.
Responsibilities
-
Practice builder role is in conjunction with lead engineer responsibilities.

Execute commissioning, retro-commissioning and energy services related projects.

Plan, schedule, and perform work for large projects and programs with support from our national practice.

Manage staff and assistant level commissioning team to execute projects. Responsible for the quality control of their deliverables.

Perform site visits to coordinate commissioning, evaluate new and existing systems, witness equipment start-up and testing.

Experience producing engineering studies for energy analysis for multiple system types
-
Experience in LEED Energy modeling, Energy Star, & other Various Sustainable rating systems
-
Prepare commissioning plans, specifications, checklist, and functional test documentation
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking ability
-
Write responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications for various clients and marketing opportunities

Ability to work individually or in a multi-discipline team
-
Mentor and coordinate the work of designers and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projects

Manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidance
Qualifications
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (advanced degrees are a plus) or Bachelor Degree in Architectural Engineering (BSAE) required

10+ years of related experience

Revit experience preferred

Compensation Range:

Base Salary $120,000 - 180,000 annually

Job Description
Raise, place and unite girders, columns and other structural-steel members to form completed structures frameworks, working as a member of the crew.
General Requirements
- Practice safety rules.
- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Safe use of hand & power tools.
- Report to and assist immediate supervisor.
- Perform quality work as determined by project specifications.
- Accountable for all tools and materials at the end of your shift.
- Must work well as part of a team.
- Offloads deliveries of structural material from the fabricator.
- Determine number, sizes, shapes and location of reinforcing rods from blueprints, sketches or oral directions.
- Set up and break down hoisting equipment for raising and placing structural-steel members.
- Set up framework of building by positioning steel girders or other structural elements and then bolting them into place or prepares them for permanent bolding and/or welding.
- Verifies vertical and horizontal alignment of members.
- Ensure that all reinforcing material is in its proper position so that it receives its intended structural load.
- Fastens steel members to cable of hoist.
- Signals worker operating hoisting equipment to life and place steel member.
- Guide member or ride on member in order to guide it into position.
- Pull or pry steel members into approximate position while member is supported by hoisting device.
- One (1) to four (4) years of experience in specified skill (depending on mechanic level).
- Written pre-employment qualification test.
- Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
