Field Service Coordinator

The Field Service Coordinator is a vital part of the field service team as they provide support in the following areas: purchase orders, order entry, invoicing, project tracking, contract tracking, electronic filing, and some accounting. The ideal candidate would work well with customers and multiple teammates on and off site, thrive in a growing environment, be comfortable with quickly adapting to change from day to day, and have strong detail-oriented skills. This role serves as a liaison between the operation and the finance team.
**_What Will You Do?_**
- Administrative support to the field service team
- Log and code workhours for respective work order into E-1 from time tracking system
- Enter orders upon receiving a PO or CC information
- Invoice completed orders
- Work with purchasing to set up new customers and vendors
- File the necessary paperwork to ensure contracts have the proper documentation filed for customer access
- Assist in audit requests
- Leverage internal resources to develop and document newfound improvement processes
- Look for opportunities to continuously improve and streamline routine functions
- Fields customer calls to correct individual/department
- Logs initial notes of customer requirements
**_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require._**
- Frequent standing, sitting, stooping, bending, other related tasks in an office setting
- Periodic trips to the production floor
- Lift up to 10 pounds
- Work may involve exposure to loud noises
- Possible work from home ability
**_Your Experience Should Be._**
- 2-5 years in an administrative or coordinator position
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects across different sites/states
- Experience with Sharepoint, COR360, and M-files is a plus
- Proficient in E-1 system (adding parts, issuing parts, checking supply and demand, pulling up drawings, etc)
- Ability to learn all product lines and sustain the knowledge (bulk, Trailers, Railcars, Trifecta, Package gas, Perma-Cyls, Orca, dosers)
- Cryogenic experience is a plus

Chart's Field Service Tech position plays a key role in the field service repair of Chart's products. Chart's Beasley, TX facility is currently seeking candidates interested in a career that requires traveling, a special skill set, and dedication. This position performs a variety of functions including but not limited to welding, pipe fitting, installation, cutting, grinding metals at job sites in the field under the supervision of a Site Supervisor.
**_What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be._**
- Working with customers, management, sales, engineers, and all levels of internal employees in the execution of orders and customer support
- Establish, promote and maintain excellent rapport with all customers representing Hudson products in professional manner
- Effectively communicate up and down the chain
- Support fan engineering with various projects at Hudson's facility.
- Travel to field site locations to inspect equipment
- Respond to customer calls regarding company products or units having mechanical, structural and/or operational issues in the field
- Conduct air flow testing of company's and/or competitors' fans as requested by the customer or sales
- Support sales with site visits to understand the customer's equipment setup and job scope
- Conduct equipment inspections
- Support customer with new unit start-ups, commissioning and inspections
- Assist with proper installation and setup by the customer
- Investigate product quality issues with field units
- Submit detailed written reports for field services performed
- Provide training to customers on various topics such as proper field inspection procedure, equipment installation, operation and maintenance.
- Assist with bundle cleaning projects when needed
**_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require._**
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be able to work inside & outside in various climate conditions
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Must be able to travel up to 80% of the time including international travel to Europe, Middle East and Southeast Asia (must have, or be able to attain, passport and any other required travel documentation)
REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) WHILE IN THE SHOPS & PLANTS:
- Safety Glasses
- Steel Toe Shoes
- Ear Plugs

- Ability to read and understand blueprints such as general arrangement drawings, assembly drawings, component detail drawings, etc.
- Ability to read and understand various datasheets such as ACHE datasheets, fan datasheets, component datasheets, etc.
- Knowledge and experience with air cooled heat exchangers (ACHE), rotating equipment
- Knowledge and experience with fans and mechanicals, specifically Hudson and Cofimco fan products
- Capable of passing Vibration Training - I and II
- Use of small tools (hand and power tools) to large equipment such as forklifts and man lifts
- Crane and rigging knowledge and experience
- Capable of understanding OSHA and company safe work practices, regulations, and policies
- Capable of Understanding API code (specifically API-661 for ACHE) and CTI codes & standards Millwright on rotating equipment - alignment and trouble shooting
- Strong ability to work autonomously in customer environments.
- Strong mechanical and analytical skills required to troubleshoot various issues encountered on field jobs and on-site when assistance is needed
- Strong communication skills, specifically relaying information and ideas both verbally and written
- Must be able to understand information and ideas presented through spoken words or in writing
