**Job Description**
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may also be assigned.
+ Manage incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure timely delivery
+ Review shipping documentation and ensure accuracy of information
+ Communicate with carriers and freight forwarders to arrange pick-up and delivery schedules
+ Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliations
+ Create and maintain shipping and receiving reports for management review
+ Coordinate with other departments to resolve discrepancies in shipments or deliveries
+ Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to shipping and receiving
+ Manage and organize warehouse space to optimize storage and minimize damage to products
+ Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including answering questions and resolving issues related to shipping and receiving.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
The individual in this position must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends when needed. **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
A high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum education requirement, an associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or supply chain management is preferred. Experience-wise, candidates should have previous work experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or transportation. Good organizational, communication, and computer skills are essential. Training on industry-specific software may be provided on the job. Some physical requirements may also be necessary, such as lifting heavy packages or operating a forklift.
