Job Description

The Business Analyst, Supply Chain & Order Fulfillment will work closely with business stakeholders to understand current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement. They will elicit and document detailed requirements and collaborate with development teams for implementation.
This exciting role will primarily focus on Operational Excellence within Sensata. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining business requirements, functional design specifications, developing and executing test cases, and solving problems. They will also support continuous improvements across the business, as well as participate in, lead, or author investigations and root cause analysis for issues of non-compliance across cross-functional teams.
# General Responsibilities
+ Analyze process issues and bottlenecks to identify and document potential improvements, coordinate with different departmental teams to produce better business outcomes, and identify automation opportunities.
+ Write clear and well-structured business requirements/documents and communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders.
+ Collaborate with project teams to clarify and improve requirements during implementation and to assist with project management and solution delivery.
+ Develop clear requirements traceability and test plans to facilitate unit, system, and user acceptance testing.
+ Coordinate and facilitate end user testing for solution acceptance.
+ Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.
+ Responsible for conducting prototypes, data mapping, function mapping, setting of configuration tables and setting of transaction/control tables.
+ Involved in security/authorization set-up, user documentation, data interface design, data migration and reconciliation.
+ May be involved in the installation and tuning of modifications, as well as archiving data.

They collaborate effectively with Supply Chain to support those needs. This position requires occasional travel via air or company vehicle.

Requirements

  • BS or equivalent degree in Finance, Analytics, Management, Healthcare of Information Technology or related field.

  • Minimum 4 years' experience utilizing Analytics in a complex healthcare setting is preferred.

  • Four years' experience and proven ability utilizing Analytics to meet the needs of a hospital-based healthcare organization is desirable.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes 60 % Leadership, Influence and Strategy • Serve as critical liaison between Enterprise stakeholders and the Galileo (S/4HANA) team. • Provide guidance and support to Order to Cash process associates on a regular basis related to the Galileo Program. • Partner closely with the Order to Cash functional leaders, regional leaders, and associates to understand how the Order to Cash Process is executed today enterprise-wide; as well as identifying improvements in the Order to Cash processes and systems as we move into future state design. • Similarly, partner with adjacent process owners (es: IBP (Integrated Business Planning), Sales, Marketing, etc.) to identify, recommend and influence process improvement opportunities that will positively impact the Order to Cash process overall. • Understand system connectivity and how the data and tools can be used to drive decision making across the enterprise. • Participate in key design decisions related to our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Global Template & S4/HANA design strategy. • Facilitate communication and collaboration between the business, Order to Cash stakeholders, OTC IT team and Galileo Supply Chain Leaders. • Develop subject matter expertise and drive adoption of Order to Cash elements that make sense for their business – including best practices around supply chain activities. • Develop relationships with Order to Cash associates around the globe.
