Job Summary:

The Enterprise Technology Analyst is responsible for the delivery of comprehensive IT support and services to ensure the optimal performance of the organization’s end-user computing environment. The analyst participates within a cross functional team to implement new projects, provide technical services, and create solutions to achieve the goals of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

General Support Duties:

  • Technical Support: Provide second level contact and convey resolutions to user issues in a timely manner either via phone, email, or in-person support.
  • Primary: Provide remote assistance to employees at all CFP locations including home-based of ices and while traveling.
  • Secondary: Provide in-person support at all local facilities.
  • Problem Solving: Diagnose and troubleshoot PC hardware, peripherals and software issues including but not limited to operating systems (Windows 10/11, iOS, macOS), Office 365, Microsoft Teams, MicrosoftOneDrive, business applications, mobile devices, and basic network connectivity.
  • Ticket Management: Log all support requests into the Enterprise Support Desk ticketing system, ensuring detailed descriptions, accurate categorization, and timely updates until resolution.
  • Escalation: Escalate unresolved issues to other IT support teams as required while providing clear and concise details about the problem. Collaborate with other teams (e.g., network engineers, system administrators) when needed.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation within the knowledge base for common issues and solutions to facilitate knowledge sharing within the IT team and the employee community.
  • Software/Hardware Installation: Assist with the installation and configuration of software, drivers, and basic hardware components. Ensure that the systems are up to date with necessary patches and updates.
  • Asset Management: Track and manage IT equipment inventory, ensuring proper distribution, setup, and retrieval of hardware.
  • Security: Follow CFP’s IT Security policies and promote security via employee education.
  • Training and Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training to stay current with technological developments and company policies. Take an active part in supporting Kaizen activities. Provide general training for software applications and standard procedures.
Tier 2 Support Duties:
  • Develop, and recommend IT solutions using standard technologies, and best practices.
  • Routinely visit Columbia locations to address site specific issues, action projects, and build local relationships.
  • Collaborate with users and IT team members to help ensure the performance, security, and connectivity of the end user computing environment.
  • Identify issues and initiate timely support for Columbia’s computing environment.
  • Provide business computing hardware support through the installation, investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues on equipment such as desktops, laptops, servers, networking, and accessories.
  • Provide work center support through the installation, upgrading, and troubleshooting of Windows 10/11, Mac, Of ice 365, and business applications.
  • Provide cloud services support through the configuration, and troubleshooting of Office 365 products such as OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint for the business.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with VOIP systems, and mobile devices.
  • Secure CFP assets through the timely patching of systems, and employee education.
  • Administer user accounts, and security roles in Active Directory.
  • Partner with application owners to perform backup and recovery of business applications and data.
  • Maintain hardware and software inventories at Columbia sites.
  • Participate in new projects as they are identified across disciplines such as: cloud, enterprise computing, and infrastructure.
  • Work within a cross functional team to collaborate on projects and provide escalated support as required.
  • Work with vendor support contacts to identify and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
  • Education/Experience:
  • 3-5 years relevant field experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams).
    troubleshooting skills as they relate to IT systems, and equipment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of supporting end user computing software including Windows
  • Operating System, Of ice 365, and Azure.

Your work will directly support GDOT's mission by leveraging technology to enhance safety, sustainability, and mobility across Georgia's transportation system. This position will report directly to the Chief Information Officer.

Local candidates only as the selected candidate will be expected to be onsite vi hybrid schedule. (2-3 days onsite Exact days TBD). While the intent may be a long-term tenure, this position is subject to annual budget restrictions. The initial contract is through the end of this fiscal year and is anticipated to be renewed July 1st.

Key Responsibilities

1.Strategic Leadership
• Develop and maintain a forward-thinking enterprise architecture strategy that supports GDOT's mission and objectives
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT initiatives with business goals and transportation needs
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the IT division
• Ensure that all architectural decisions and initiatives contribute to GDOT's strategic goals of safety, system preservation, project delivery, mobility, and employee development
• Support and Shepherd the IT division in its role as a critical enabler of GDOT's mission, identifying opportunities to leverage technology for transformative impact

2.Stakeholder Engagement
• Gather requirements and insights from diverse stakeholders, including leadership, customers, and frontline staff
• Facilitate collaborative decision-making processes to ensure all voices are heard and considered in architectural decisions
• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to drive technology adoption and success
• Engage with transportation experts to understand how technology can best support GDOT's mission of innovation, safety, sustainability, and mobility
• Act as a bridge between IT and other GDOT divisions, ensuring technology solutions are aligned with operational needs

3.Collaborative Standards Development and Implementation
• Facilitate the co-creation of enterprise architecture standards and best practices through inclusive, cross-functional workshops and working groups
• Foster a culture of shared ownership in architectural standards by involving stakeholders from various departments in the development process
• Guide the establishment of flexible governance processes that encourage adherence to standards while allowing for innovation and agility
• Lead regular, collaborative reviews of standards to ensure they evolve with emerging technologies and changing business needs
• Ensure that architectural standards align with and support GDOT's goals, particularly in streamlining processes and improving access for small businesses
• Develop and implement strategies to communicate the value and benefits of standards across the organization, encouraging voluntary adoption

4.Research and Innovation Initiatives
• Spearhead research initiatives to explore emerging technologies and their potential applications within GDOT
• Organize and facilitate proof-of-concept (POC) projects to test innovative solutions in real-world scenarios
• Lead hackathons and innovation challenges that bring together diverse teams to solve complex transportation problems
• Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research centers, and industry leaders to stay at the forefront of technological advancements
• Create and maintain an innovation lab or sandbox environment where teams can experiment with new technologies and approaches
• Develop a framework for evaluating and scaling successful POCs and hackathon outcomes into enterprise-wide solutions
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and experimentation across the IT division and broader GDOT organization

5.Solution Architecture Support
• Mentor and guide Solutions Architects, ensuring they have the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects to align their work with the broader enterprise architecture vision
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and cross-pollination of ideas between different architectural teams
• Ensure that solution architectures contribute to GDOT's goals of project delivery and mobility enhancement.

6.Technology Enablement
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance the technical capabilities of GDOT IT staff
• Identify emerging technologies and evaluate their potential impact on GDOT's operations
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to test and validate new technologies before broader adoption
• Focus on technologies that can enhance safety, sustainability, and mobility in Georgia's transportation system
• Champion the role of IT as a strategic enabler, demonstrating how technology drives GDOT's mission forward

7.Communication and Change Management
• Articulate complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Develop and execute change management strategies to support the adoption of new architectural approaches
• Create and maintain documentation to support the understanding and implementation of enterprise architecture principles
• Communicate how architectural initiatives support GDOT's vision of increasing Georgia's competitiveness through transportation leadership
• Promote the value of IT initiatives in enabling GDOT's mission across the organization

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on government or transportation sectors
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization
• Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives
• Experience with cloud technologies, data analytics, and emerging technologies such as AI and IoT
• Knowledge of transportation systems and smart city concepts is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to align technology initiatives with organizational missions and goals
• Experience in positioning IT as a strategic enabler in large organizations

The salary range for this position is: $73,500 - $244,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. As part of the Software and Product Innovation team you lead the integration of Quality Engineering technologies and manage cloud infrastructure. As a Manager you guide teams in strategic planning, mentoring junior staff, and securing project success while maintaining elevated standards. You play a key role in shaping TestOps strategic roadmaps, promoting the integration of Generative AI features, and managing the renewal processes for tools and infrastructure.

- Oversee cloud infrastructure management
- Guide teams in strategic planning and mentoring
- Shape TestOps strategic roadmaps

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement
What You Must Have
- High School Diploma
- 4 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems Analysis, or Management Information Systems preferred
- Foundations Certification preferred
- Demonstrating broad abilities in Quality Engineering
- Facilitating communication with PwC's senior leadership
- Managing and enhancing cloud infrastructure
- Spearheading integration of Quality Engineering technologies
- Designing and implementing CICDCT pipeline on Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools to manage and provision infrastructure consistently
- Experience and knowledge in one or more scripting languages like Java, Perl, bash, PowerShell, Python
- Proficiency in containerizing applications (Kubernetes & Docker) and managing container orchestration & Experience spinning up on-demand, container-based test environments
- Specializing in automated testing frameworks
- Partnering with clients to build roadmaps
