**Salary/Pay Range** : $1,020 per credit hour. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications.
This position has been determined to be exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Because this appointment is temporary in nature, you will not be eligible to receive all of the benefits normally provided to faculty under the standard University of Colorado benefits programs ( . You are not eligible to receive paid vacation leave, medical, or retirement benefits. However, you are eligible to accrue sick leave at 0.034 hours of sick leave per hour worked.
**Work Location** : Determined by course modality: On-campus, online, or hybrid. Remote teaching opportunities may be available under certain conditions.
**Summary**
The College of Letters, Arts, and Science (LAS) at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers in Political Science from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made. Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be made semester-by-semester.
The position is responsible for teaching various courses for Political Science; however, exact courses taught will depend on need at the time of hire The courses may be in person or online.

The Department of Political Science at Colorado State University provides quality undergraduate and graduate educational programs to enhance students' knowledge about government, politics and public affairs. Our curriculum covers the breadth of the Political Science discipline including American politics, comparative politics, international relations, political theory, and public policy and administration with an additional and unique specialization in environmental politics and policy. Our students develop strong critical thinking and analytical skills and learn to effectively communicate complex ideas. Our faculty and graduate students conduct research to advance knowledge about government and politics and to identify solutions to societal problems in the United States and around the world.

This is an open pool for adjunct instructors in the Political Science department at Colorado State University. The Department will review applications for instructors to teach undergraduate courses on an as-needed basis throughout the year. The Department of Political Science at Stanford University seeks an outstanding senior scholar for a tenured professorship (associate or full) with expertise in race and racial justice in the U.S., civil rights, social movements, and/or African American politics. This scholar also will serve as the Faculty Director of The Martin Luther King, Jr. Research and Education Institute for a renewable five-year term.

The successful applicant will be expected to play a meaningful role in a department committed to dynamic teaching and to maintain a vibrant and productive scholarly research agenda. This scholar will provide intellectual, strategic, and visionary leadership for the Institute. **FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT**
The College Now Program at Kingsborough Community College seeks Adjunct Lecturers to teach CRJ 63: Introduction to Criminal Justice and HIS 68: U.S. Women's History.
**CRJ 63: Introduction to Criminal Justice (3 credt, 3 hour college level course to junior and/or senior high school students enrolled in the College Now Program)**
The course introduces students to the three agencies that comprise the criminal justice system: police, courts and corrections. Particular attention is given to: (1) the process of justice i.e., investigation, arrest, booking, initial appearance, probable cause hearing, grand jury, indictment, arraignment and plea, plea bargain or jury trial, sentencing hearing, incarceration, and release, and )2) the due process rights of defendants as delineated in the Bill of Rights and the Fourteenth Amendment. This class is in addition to the teacher's regular NYCPS work day. Teacher's are expected to attend professional development meetings, assessment of instruction and related events.
**HIS 68: U.S. Women's History (3 credt, 3 hour college level course to junior and/or senior high school students enrolled in the College Now Program)**
This course introduces students to diverse women's experiences and activism from the pre-colonial era to the U.S. present, including the women's suffrage movement, feminism, and movements led by women of color. This class is in addition to the teacher's NYCPS regular work day.

*CREDIT POLICY AND ANALYSIS OFFICER*
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
This position is responsible for researching, authorizing and/or editing new and revised credit policy and procedures for the Credit Policy Manual and the Credit Procedures Manual. This position will also be responsible for analyzing and presenting data regarding trends in both adherence to policy requirements in underwriting practices and the overall performance of credit portfolio quality.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
* Support the credit risk framework that balances the Bank's current situation, desired credit culture, industry "best practices", risk tolerance, and regulatory expectations.
* Seek input from various areas and levels of the bank to assess current and necessary policy updates including updates to current policies and creation of new polices as needed.
* Identify gaps in current policy requirements and current practices; make recommendations for proposed revisions to correct deficiencies while ensuring sound risk management practices and adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Conduct analysis and research on credit policy issues and recommend changes to the Senior Credit Policy Officer.
* Collaborate with 1LOD and 2LOD Credit Risk Reporting teams to create reports for the Board of Directors and RBC management on behalf of the CCO.
* Interpret trend data on the portfolio regarding to asset quality trends and the correlation of policy exceptions to overall portfolio performance.
* Provide support for loan portfolio data aggregation, QC and report preparation.
* Analyze the impact on credit policy framework documents of modifications to credit risk practices.
* Research and create presentations for Credit Policy Committee consideration; present to the Senior Credit Policy Officer for approval. Assist in the various governance committees' administrative functions including recording minutes, assembling and distributing decks and agendas and providing logistical venue support.
* Ensure timely and accurate implementation and communication to lending personnel of policy and guidelines by publishing and communicating policy updates through various channels, including training sessions
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
*Required Qualifications**
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
* 5 years of experience in a banking environment required
* 7 years of experience in credit, risk management, and regulatory supervision required
*Additional Qualifications*
* Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc. with ability to analyze large datasets of loan information to present analytics and insights
* Ability to build Tableau is a plus
* Knowledge of commercial portfolio management, credit risk, commercial credit underwriting, financial analysis, and regulatory requirements.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to do business presentations to small groups.
* Ability to work with line and corporate management.
