This description is intended to outline the primary responsibilities, general nature and level of work being performed by teammates assigned to this position. Responsible for overall operation of the Gas Station. Serves as a model for customer service and other vital behaviors, and instills this value in all teammates. Creates an environment for continual learning and encourages an open dialogue among teammates. Provides leadership and motivation within the store to promote a culture reflective of Lowe's guiding principles, core values, and vision.

- Responsible To: Store Manager / Assistant Manager

- Teammates Supervised: None.

- Inter-Relationships: Frequent contact with all teammates, customers, corporate office and vendors. Occasional contact with teammates from other locations.

- Assist customers with the use of the gas pumps.

- Collect all receipts from gas station computers and monitors, to be turned into the office.

- Clean pumps and area around the entire gas station area to include weeds.

- Control cash, debit, credit cards and daily balancing.

- Change gas prices on board and and gas pumps.

- Restock cigarettes, gum, oil and other merchandise within the gas station.

- Clean and fill window cleaner containers and paper towel dispensers, twice a day.

- Empty and carry off trash from the trash receptacles at end of shift.

- Keep work area maintained appropriately to ensure a safe work environment for teammates and customers.

- Must be able to perform other duties.

- Adheres to all compliance of company policies, programs, procedures and guidelines.

- Works with teammates to identify the root causes of issues and inefficiencies.

- Constantly interacts with teammates to ensure that all teammates understands Lowe's expectations.

Training and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Computer literate and basic math skills.

Licenses, Registration and Certification: None.

Works in a well lit, well ventilated area. Exposure to seasonal outdoor weather. Subject to communicable disease.

Light work- exerting pounds of force occasionally, and 10-15 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must posses good audio, visual and hearing acuity. Must be able to climb, stand, bend, push or pull, twist, grasp, squeeze, stoop, kneel, squat, reach, handle, finger and feel. Subject to psychological stress.

• Ensure all sales transactions are completed according to established procedures.
• Provide each customer with the highest quality customer service throughout the entire shift.
• Stock merchandise according to plan and at the direction of management. Maintain inventory levels and a well-organized.
• Accurately process every sale according to procedures established by management.
• Maintain pumps according to procedures.
• Makes sure that all customers are provided the highest quality service characterized by friendliness, accuracy, and speed.
• Makes sure that all merchandise including gas is processed according to policy and ready for resale.
• Assists the manager in maintaining and operating all systems including the point-of-sale system, pumps and any other equipment required to operate the store.
• Clean the store, including sweeping floors, cleaning restrooms, wiping down shelves and generally working to provide customers and employee
• Ensure that the gas station is a clean safe place to shop and work.
• Flexible workweek with possible additional hours required.
• Performs other job-related duties as directed.

• Graduation from High School, or equivalent preferred.
• Three (3) months of recent and related experience in customer service or convenience store gas station operations preferred.
