You will be responsible for menu development, inventory, purchasing, food cost controls and staff management and development.
**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Trains, develops and provides inspirational leadership to local culinary team

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experience with planning and managing catering events from a culinary perspective
+ Strong leadership skills and desire to work with an industry leader

Novant Health is looking for a compassionate, caring Pediatric Hematologist Oncologist to join the St Jude Affiliate Clinic at Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital. Our program includes a team of 6 physicians and 4 advanced practice practitioners, certified pediatric hematology oncology nurses, clinical research associates, a clinical pharmacist, social work, and child life specialists. In addition to being a member of Children's Oncology Group, we are also an enrolling site for St. Jude clinical trials. All physicians see hematology and pediatric cancer diagnoses in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. We are the first federally designated Pediatric Hemophilia Treatment Center in Charlotte, NC and provide comprehensive sickle cell care. The inpatient service is housed within Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital, which provides robust pediatric subspecialty support including a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Emergency Room. Our outpatient clinic recently enjoyed a complete renovation to support the growth of multidisciplinary care programs.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate Degree, required. Graduate of a PA program formally accredited by CAAHEP or equivalent. Graduate of a master’s degree NP program or Postmaster’s NP program. National certification required after January 1, 2000. Must be able to provide care across the lifespan- pediatric, adult and geriatric, required.

Experience: Two years of experience in Neurosurgery care setting. One to three years of experience working in a physician/hospital practice setting preferred. required.

Licensure/Certification: Current NP or PA license in appropriate state, registry required w/state medical board, current DEA registry and ACLS( not required for the in- office only NP/PA) and BLS required.

Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.

Evaluation and management of key neurosurgical issues including but not limited to: Intra-crainial bleeds, subdural hematomas, epidural hematomas, subarachnoid hemorrhages, brain tumors, spine tumors, cervical, thoracic and lumbar back pain.

Maintain standard competencies for Neurosurgery such as NIHSS and Glasgow Coma Scale

Maintain competencies for Neurosurgical care such as BLS, ACLS, and or ENLS.
