The Dispatcher receives assistance requests from clients and customers, and assigns individuals and teams to respond to those requests.

**Basic Qualifications:**
- Must be 18 years of age or older

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- One (1) year of prior multi-line reception experience or dispatching experience preferred
**Responsibilities:**
+ Coordinate and manage the efficient flow of taxis and drivers.
+ Receive calls, determine the suitable taxi availability, and direct taxis to customer locations.
+ Communicate with dispatch staff to arrange for taxis to be dispatched immediately or at a specified time.
+ Manage dispatching operations such as making sure vehicles have gas and oil to keep them running.
+ Track taxi activity to ensure that vehicles are dispatched in accordance with local laws and regulations.
+ Coordinate with taxi companies to provide service to special events and conventions.
+ Maintain communication with taxi drivers to ensure they reach customers quickly or punctually.
+ Track driver activity to ensure they take efficient routes and follow all traffic laws and regulations.
+ Use modern routing software in order to develop, alter, and optimize delivery routes.
+ Effectively communicate and serve as the liaison between drivers and customers.
+ Remain agile and ready to handle sudden route changes or delivery issues.
