**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:**
+ Perform shipping and receiving functions, including, but not limited to the following:
+ Verify deliveries against packing slips for accuracy and inspect for damage.
+ Receive inventory into the accounting system of record.
+ Identify, separate, label, and palletize deliveries by project.
+ Support shipping and mobilization of material.
+ Stage equipment orders for projects
+ Facilitate return of equipment from projects
+ Monitor and maintain uncommitted inventory and supplies.
+ Perform tasks to ensure safety, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse.
+ Use tools such as a stacker, forklift, and pallet jack.
+ Communicate consistently and effectively with management, purchasing, engineering, sales, project management and installation teams.
+ Provide support of delivery of materials to job site as needed.
+ Assist with management of general building maintenance.
+ Perform computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.
+ Inventory management, including supporting manual inventory counts.
+ Address inventory control issues as they arise.
+ Actively and collaboratively support logistic process optimization.
+ Support Purchasing Team
**WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:**
+ Minimum of 2 years experience in logistics 
+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
+ Strong communication and organization skills
+ Familiarity with telecommunications preferred.

Position Purpose and Objectives

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Distribution Shipping/Receiving Team Member to join our Distribution Center team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and accurate material handling of shipping and receiving tasks, including the receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments. This role is critical to maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Unload incoming shipments from trucks and trailers.

  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against purchase orders, packing lists, and inspect clothes and other items.

  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.

  • Label and process shipments using appropriate shipping software.

  • Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of orders.

  • Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse, performing regular counts and audits.

  • Assist with inventory management tasks, such as stock rotation and replenishment.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, keeping work areas neat and clean.

  • Comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, safely and efficiently.

  • High School Degree or GED preferred, or equivalent work experience.

  • Operation of warehouse equipment; forklift certification is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Basic computer skills, familiarity with shipping software.

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects regularly.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Clean work areas, machines, equipment, vehicles, and products. Repack, relabel, stack, and prepare products for stocking or shipping. Wear many hats and may be asked to assist with other areas in the shop/office/warehouse. Attendance at work during the regularly scheduled shift is an essential duty.
