**A DAY IN THE LIFE**
+ Lead and manage on-site safety efforts on complex or large-scale projects, working closely with project superintendents, project managers, multiple subcontractors, and client reps.

+ Perform site-wide safety standdowns, toolbox talks, and small group discussions and log meeting minutes and attendees.
+ Collect and manage required subcontractor safety documentation (safety plans, fall protection plans, Weekly TBTs, pre-tasks, training certificates, etc.)
+ Incident Investigations - Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure that all incidents are formally investigated and that subcontractors identify root cause, contributing factors, and corrective actions.
**NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS**
+ 5-15 years of construction experience managing complex, large-scale projects such as mission-critical/data centers, heavy commercial Industrial, advanced manufacturing, etc.
+ Prior experience with a general contractor preferred.
+ BS in Occupational Health and Safety or a closely related field.
+ CSP/CHST/STS or similar certification(s) preferred.
+ Completed OSHA 30-hour training, OSHA 500/510 certification a plus.
+ Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with workers at all levels.
+ Ability to lead and influence others to prioritize safety.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to identify atypical hazards, communicate them effectively, and implement proactive corrective actions.
+ Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence.

**Duration:** 6 - 18 Months (W2 Contract)
**Pay Range:** $27 - $30/hr. + Benefits & PTO
**_Day Shift & Night Shift, 12-hrs_**
**What's the Job?**
- Prepare, stage, set up, and perform **startups and shutdowns of IT equipment** , following specific instructions and safety protocols.
- Conduct **post-execution quality checks** to ensure proper grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling.
- Diagnose and **troubleshoot hardware issues** , quickly identifying causes and performing **break-fix repairs** on faulty components.
- **Decommission hardware** for system refreshes, including **memory upgrades and OS rebuilds** .
- Monitor systems for **equipment failures or errors** and respond to program error messages effectively.
**What's Needed?**
- **Computer Science majors** OR **CompTIA A+ or Server+ certifications** .
- **Experience as a Data Center Technician** , with **hardware break-fix responsibilities** .
- **Previous experience with Geek Squad computer repair or similar computer repair technician roles** .
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of **computer hardware, servers, and components** .
- 2+ years of experience supporting **IT equipment** or related technology.
- Basic understanding of **Microsoft Office applications** (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Flexibility to work **non-standard business hours** , including weekends and/or holidays.

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer with deep networking expertise and strong virtualization experience to design, implement, and support enterprise-class infrastructure. This role requires hands-on technical skills, project leadership, and the ability to partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Design & Implementation – Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of enterprise network solutions, primarily on Cisco Nexus and Catalyst platforms, with some Dell networking exposure.
- Virtualization Expertise – Architect, implement, and maintain VMware virtualization environments, ensuring performance, availability, and scalability.
- Project Leadership – Own infrastructure projects from planning to execution, including scoping, design documentation, implementation, and handoff.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with systems, security, and application teams to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.
- Operational Excellence – Establish best practices for monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing network and virtualization performance.
- Technology Evaluation – Assess new networking and virtualization technologies and provide recommendations to improve infrastructure resiliency and efficiency.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on networking experience, with strong expertise in Cisco Nexus and Catalyst platforms (design, implementation, and troubleshooting).
- Experience with Dell Networking products a plus.
- Strong background in VMware virtualization (ESXi, vCenter, clustering, HA/DR).
- Proven track record of owning infrastructure projects end-to-end (design, build, deployment, and documentation).
- Solid understanding of routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, and network security fundamentals.
- Familiarity with data center technologies, storage, and hybrid cloud architectures .
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to interface directly with business and technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, VMware VCP, etc.) strongly .
