Maximus is seeking a PART TIME Senior IBM COBOL Developer to support our Internal Revenue Service (IRS) client.
This is a remote position.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the IRS-required Moderate Risk Background Investigation (MBI). The MBI requires the selected candidate be a U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green card) status for at least 3 years. The MBI certification process will take 4 to 5+ months, unless the candidate already holds an active MBI, which may shorten the timeline.
Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess data needs and design requirements for systems changes and enhancements.
- Develop and execute system testing plans and system change migration to production plans for compliance with system change control requirements.
- Perform trouble-shooting and programming analysis of systems issues.
- Develop system requirements of ad hoc reporting as needed.
- Maintain updated knowledge of contract compliance provisions for the project, department, and position.
- Follow policies and procedures without deviation.
- Develop, design, and implement custom applications supporting enhancements and additional projects as required for meeting project deliverables.
- May provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within job area.
Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create, update, unit test, and maintain IBM COBOL programs
- Update documentation such as Functional Specification Packages (FSPs) or Program Requirements Packages (PRPs) and/or Visio diagrams, and/or spreadsheets as needed
- Track requirements and create/execute unit test cases
- Write, analyze, review and/or provide comments on documentation such as Unified Work Requests (UWR), UWR responses and Internal Revenue Manuals (IRM), Interface Control Documents (ICD) Computer Operator Handbooks (COH)
- Rewrite programs, using workflow charts and diagrams, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, tax processing subject matter expertise, and symbolic logic.
- Perform or direct the revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements
- Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes
- Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software
- Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program
- Prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation, and convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language
- Consult with and assist testers in the development, SAT and FIT environments
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required; an additional four (4) years of related work experience can substitute for a degree
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience required
- At least four (4) years of experience with IBM COBOL programming language
- Experience with DB2 and IBM DB2 utilities

JOB SUMMARY:
The Associate I, Retail Sales Floor is responsible for ensuring the sales floor area is well stocked with product in an organized and presentable fashion. JOB SUMMARY:
The Associate I, Retail Sales Cashier is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers in a welcoming manner and responding timely and professionally to customer inquiries. JOB SUMMARY:
The Donation Services Associate I is typically the first point of contact for customers that are dropping off items at retail centers. Donation Services Associates provide excellent and friendly customer service by greeting customer’s timely and helping as needed that may include lifting or unloading donations from a customer’s vehicle or other area. Associates are expected to handle goods with care, showing respect for items donated.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provides excellent Customer service, greeting customers in a timely manner, answering product questions as needed.
- Assists every customer by unloading donations from vehicle or other area(s).
- Ensures donated items are handled with care and sorted into appropriate bins or production areas.
- Inspects all donations within assigned areas and make decisions on quality to sort appropriately for the sales floor or to be shipped to other locations.
- Ensures a safe, organized, and clean environment is maintained for both customers and fellow employees within the donations entrance and parking lot areas.
- Maintains remote donation centers shed and trailer, following appropriate opening and closing procedures when working at a remote site.

- Tracks and reports donation levels daily to ensure trailers do not become over stocked when working in remote donation center locations.
- Follows all retail center policies and procedures.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Retail Production Associate I will primarily work in a production environment processing and sorting donated items following company quality standards and guidelines to determine which items will be placed on the sales floor to be sold. This process includes pricing and testing guidelines as required. The Associate is responsible for ensuring the sales floor area is well stocked with product in an organized and presentable fashion. The Associate may occasionally be in contact with customers and expected to be responsive in communication and provide excellent customer service. The Associate may be assigned to various areas that they have been trained in to include hardlines, softlines, housewares, electronics, mechanical goods, books, or shoes per the business needs. This position may occasionally work in donations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Meets or exceeds minimum productivity standards and expectations/Key Performance Indicator (KPI)s for assigned duties.
- Sort donated items by type (books, media, textiles, housewares etc.) which include season, color, and quality of product.
- Hang, size, and price, tag, and prepare items to be sold on the sales floor.
- Inspect and quick test items as needed that plug-in or run on batteries to ensure the product is in good workable condition.
- Make decisions to price according to Goodwill standards of quality and value of product (Good, Better, Best), which may include researching the item’s value on the internet or utilizing other company tools and standards.
- Ensure production and sales floor areas are well organized, stocked, properly merchandised, and clean.
- Provide excellent customer service to fellow staff and customers; answer product questions as needed.
- Rotate or pull old or unsold product in a timely manner from the sales floor to ensure product selection is refreshed as necessary.
- May have additional responsibility of processing E-Commerce product (sort, hang, size, price, tag, etc.).
- Follow all retail center policies and procedures.
- Ensures work areas are clear and organized and adhere to continuous improvement standards.
- Follow all safety processes and procedures to help provide a safe working environment for employees and customers.
- Cross-train in other departments or areas; act as a back-up for other areas as required.

Goodwill's Material Handlers are an integral part of our production team! Material Handlers keep our production moving by using electric forklifts and/or pallet jacks to stage portions of our production flow (i.e., gaylords, pallets, tubs, etc.) matching them with the members of the production team to maximize efficiency. We are hiring for our New Brighton Store!
Important to know:- New Hires will report to our Broomfield Store located at 4775 West 121st Avenue, Broomfield, CO 80020 for their first day onboarding/New Employee Orientation.
- Training may take place at another of our Goodwill Stores in the North Metro area.
- Once the store opens, the initial weeks will focus on preparing the store for its grand opening, including tasks such as cleaning, assembling rounders, and setting up racks, etc.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Material Handler, Retail will primarily work in a production environment moving, storing, and retrieving donated products following Goodwill’s warehousing and material handling procedures and guidelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Meets or exceeds minimum productivity standards and expectations/Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for assigned duties.
- Uses and becomes certified on pallet jack, walkie stacker, forklift, hand dolly or other equipment or tools to effectively move and store donated product.
- Ensures that all areas of production have sufficient materials to work with so that there is no lapse of work to minimize down time.
- Be proactive in preparing materials or storage containers to anticipate the needs of the production team.
- Ensures that the warehouse and trailers are well organized, stocked, and clean to ensure items are stored in an efficient manner.
- Prepares items for shipment and track products that are both shipped as well as received by the Retail Center docks.
- Ensures work areas are clear and organized and adhere to continuous improvement and safety requirements.
- Duties are completed accurately, safely, and timely to ensure that items are handled appropriately and not damaged throughout the product flow process.
- Promotes and demonstrates positive teamwork and cooperation.

General Purpose:
The primary purpose of your job position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times .
Essential Duties:
• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures established by this facility.
• Periodically review the department's policies, procedure manuals, job descriptions, etc. Make recommendations for revisions.
• Meet with your assigned nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the shifts' services, programs, and activities.
• Ensure that the Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current and reflects the day-to-day nursing procedures performed in this facility.
• Ensure that all nursing service personnel comply with the procedures set forth in the Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required .
• Cooperate with other resident services when coordinating nursing services to ensure that the resident's total regimen of care is maintained .
• Ensure that all nursing service personnel are in compliance with their respective job descriptions.
• Participate in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the facility's quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
• Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies as may be requested .
• Periodically review the resident's written discharge plan. Participate in the updating of the resident's written discharge plan as required .
• Assist in planning the nursing services portion of the resident's discharge plan as necessary.
• Interpret the department's policies and procedures to personnel, residents, visitors, and government agencies as required .
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required .
• Complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
• Write resident charge slips and forward to the Business Office.
• Maintain the Daily Census Report and submit to the Business Office as required .
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc., as necessary.
• Agree not to disclose assigned user ID code and password for accessing resident/facility information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the Administrator.

Supervisory Requirements:

Must possess , as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program. Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
