Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Pipe welder with experience in industrial production facilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with various piping systems and demonstrate proficiency in interpreting technical drawings for successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Run piping through active industrial production facilities with precision and care.
- Work with butt weld and socket weld systems, handling steel pipes up to 8" in diameter.
- Interpret plan view and elevation view drawings to accurately understand projects.
- Understand and implement Process and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) to coordinate installation of valves and instruments.
- Generate isometric drawings for fabrication, ensuring proper take-offs and cut lengths from field measurements.
- Field route piping as required, utilizing expertise in welded, threaded, Victaulic piping, carbon, and stainless steel.
- Read and comprehend P&ID and orthogonal drawings to disseminate and create isometric drawings.
- Handle materials including Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Fiberglass, PVC, HDPE, and Copper with various welding techniques.
- Layout pipelines including elevation changes and directional flow adjustments.
- Install in-line instrumentation, valves, and other necessary appurtenances.
- Commit to occasional weekend work with a typical schedule of four 10-hour days starting at 6:30 AM.
- 2-5 years of previous experience in pipe fitting, preferably in an industrial environment.
- Familiarity with ASME codes and standards.
- Proficiency in SMAW, GTAW, and FCAW welding processes.
- Flexibility to work in both clean (food-grade) and dirty (recycling facilities) environments.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. - Are a Journeyman Level Pipefitter or Gasfitter
- Have at least one of the following certifications: HVAC-R, Welding, or Gas Fitting.
- Able to pass a background check and obtain security clearance.
- Directly responsible for and have experience with all phases of central plant construction including boiler, chiller, and cooling tower installation, coil connections, pumps, and heat exchangers.
- Read plans to perform necessary work.
- Perform layout.
- Maintain a complete set of tools.
- Responsible for company assets used on job site.
- Make purchases at local supply houses following Company procedure.
- Hold a valid driver license.
- Other duties as assigned.
