Join our team in constructing / remodeling the Austin convention center. This role involves working with carbon and steel pipefitting, focusing on chilled water systems and carbon steel piping ranging from 4 to 30 inches.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform carbon and steel pipefitting on chilled water systems.
+ Work with piping sizes ranging from 4 to 30 inches.
+ Adapt quickly to changing project needs and assist in various tasks as necessary.
+ Maintain a positive attitude and ensure work is completed efficiently.
+ Operate safely at heights and outdoors, including on rooftops.
Essential Skills
+ 2-5 years of commercial service pipefitting experience.
+ Proficiency in plumbing, service plumbing, pipe fitting, and welding.
+ Ability to read blueprints and perform fabrication and fitting.
+ Comfortable working in small spaces and with plumbing fixtures such as sinks and toilets.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

In this role, you will support the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of piping, structural components, and facility infrastructure. This is a hands-on position that requires precision, safety, and attention to detail. You'll work closely with engineers and technicians in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You'll Do- Weld stainless steel and chromoly piping, structural steel, and other facility components to support operations and construction.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications.
- Fabricate and assemble metal components accurately using TIG and other welding techniques.
- Measure and align piping systems around fixed structures using specialized tools.
