All shifts may be available: Full-Time, Part-Time, Day Shift, Evening Shift and Night Shift.
- Responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse.
- Perform routine direct patient care activities following established policies and procedures in a manner conducive to the safety and comfort of the patient.
- Perform observations of patients and reports changes in patient condition to the registered nurse.
- Perform specific skills including phlebotomy and point of care testing (POCT).
- Assist in all aspects of daily living activities for the patients, including, but not limited to general hygiene of the patient, changings, light housekeeping, and patient vitals.

Qualifications
Education Requirements

ICU:
Pottstown Hospital has more than 40,000 patient visits annually and is the 2nd busiest hospital in Montgomery County. We are the designated stroke hospital with a TPA administration within 45 minutes of arrival. With an 18 Bed ICU we have an average daily census of 8 patients. The Pottstown ICU has prodomonitally all medical cases, but does not have cardiac or trauma. Our ICU has a critical care specialist onsite 24/7 to help with any of your questions. The ICU participates in any rapid response, stem alerts, codes or strokes.
Med/Surg, PCU, Telemetry, Ortho Units:
We are the designated stroke hospital with a TPA administration within 45 minutes of arrival. With an 30 Bed Med/Surg unit. We have an average daily census of 30 patients. The Pottstown Med/Surg has 2 floors to support our adult to geriatric patients. They see a wide variety of patients from Cardiac Comorbitities, DVT, Sepsis, Pneumonia, and Post Op Care.
