**Title and Summary**
Director, Technology Risk Management
The mission of the PCI program at Mastercard is to protect our security posture. The PCI team ensures that all of our applications and platforms that involve payments and payment data are PCI compliant and certified to PCI- DSS (Data Security Standards) as well as other PCI standards where applicable.
We are looking for someone to join our team to help us drive and meet these compliance goals. This person will be a technically savvy person who likes to solve issues and drive outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the development of efficiencies that new work-flow processes to ensure scalability and sustainability of the program
- Partner with other MasterCard standard and compliance initiatives such as ISO, SOC1 to ensure consistency, cross standard efficiencies
- Support external Audits such as FBA, Bank of India, GBLA, SWIFT
- Work on day to day management of internal PCI Program processes and standard operating procedures
- Lead certification efforts that are not DSS: PIN, 3DS, TSP, P2PE etc.
- Representing PCI in long term technical projects that were identified through the PCI process to ensure compliance with standards e.g. Mainframe encryption
- Communicate security risks and gaps as related to or identified by PCI to stakeholders and executive management
- Drive the identification of thematic and enterprise issues and provide visibility in appropriate forums
- Develop and manage key metrics
- Provide PCI guidance on inquiries for new products and technologies
Knowledge of:
- PCI standards and requirements
- Latest information security protocols and standards

Director, Risk Management (GBSC)
Overview:
The Global Business Solutions Center (GBSC) provides internal solutions for functions including Finance, Human Resources / People & Capabilities, Law Franchise and Integrity. The GBSC, Director Risk Management position within our shared services organization reports to the GBSC Vice President, Risk Management and serves as the primary risk liaison between the GBSC Operational Risk & Controls team and the GBSC Revenue Services business vertical and other assigned areas. This role ensures that risk management practices are effectively implemented, monitored, and continuously improved within the vertical, while aligning with GBSC and enterprise-wide risk frameworks. The role also partners with operations to design & develop risk mitigating solutions.
Role:
- Lead operational risk role within the assigned vertical and other assigned areas.
- Lead Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) aka "Process Reviews" covering internal and upstream/downstream activities while making actionable recommendations for de-risking and improving the process.
- Partner with process owners to identify and mitigate operational risks in existing, new, or changing processes. Ensure timely updates to the risk register.
- Coordinate and track issue reporting, measurement, root cause analysis, and remediation
- Conduct and manage control testing activities to evaluate design, performance, and effectiveness of process controls
- Monitor and report on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and escalate emerging risks.
- Support audit readiness and respond to internal/external audit inquiries.
- Promote a strong risk culture through training, awareness, and coaching.
- Create and deploy GBSC risk management tools, resources, and training materials
- Collaborate with internal risk teams to ensure consistency in risk practices and reporting.
All About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience with various technology platforms, with proven ability to identify and create risk mitigating solutions across people, process, and technology. Experience with billing systems a plus
- Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven risk reporting, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at all levels, including outside of reporting lines
- Demonstrated experience in transformation, compliance, continuous improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma
