**Job Summary**
**Working as an Assistant Director** , you are responsible for assisting the Director of Environmental Services in directing and overseeing the operational needs of the Housekeeping Department. You will coordinate the tasks of the Operations Managers. You will serve as a liaison between administration and hospital departments and provide the highest possible level of service.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Establishes and reviews standards and work procedures for all Housekeeping staff in accordance with established policies and practices of the facility
+ Plans work schedules, hours, areas of work, and job duties to ensure adequate housekeeping services are rendered to all areas
+ Interviews, selects, hires, evaluates, and recommends termination of facility housekeeping personnel in accordance with facility standards.
+ Orients, trains, develops and supervises of all Housekeeping staff
+ Performs regular inspections and evaluations of the facility; ability to recommend action items; assists with relocations within the facility
+ Conducts regular staff meetings and communicates with members of other departments to coordinate housekeeping activities
+ Schedules major project work, assuring that adequate staff and supplies are available
+ Conducts regular inventory of housekeeping supplies
+ Assists Department Director with budgets

Our private practice, located in Greenville, NC, is multi-specialty with numerous offices located in and around the area. In addition to cardiology, we offer primary care, pulmonary, rheumatology, urgent care, dermatology, oncology/hematology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, obstetrics and gynecology, and surgery. Our 100+ providers and 600 employees provide services for thousands of patients in a 29-county region of eastern North Carolina.
Full-time role based at our main Arlington campus. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8a.m. – 5 p.m. Travel to other locations as needed. Extended hours, including nights and weekends, may be required for meetings and to ensure duties are complete.

Typical Physical Demands: Requires standing and/or sitting for long periods of time while working in a clinical or office environment. Some bending and stretching required. About the role
A Director of Clinical Services, or Clinical Director, oversees the nursing and clinical staff and overall nursing operations of the healthcare facility. Required Qualifications:

- Oversee clinical inventory par levels and special-order requests.
- Ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of clinical services, and implementing strategies to improve clinical services.
- Maximize relationships with local, high schools, community colleges and universities to develop clinical partnerships. Nurture, promote and oversee student/intern engagement opportunities with these entities promoting future employment opportunities.

- Establish and promote clinical workforce delineation that is effective for a large multi-specialty healthcare corporation and includes succession planning.
- Develop supplemental staffing department that supports all clinical areas of the corporation.
- Evaluate expenses at the procedure level to ensure profitability. Evaluate drug and vaccine expenses to ensure profitability.
- Work in collaboration with coding and billing teams ensuring effective documentation of services and service capture.
- Research, evaluate and present new services and potential revenue streams to leadership.
- Strategize with leadership team, to maximize provider productivity through efficient workflows and processes.
- Actively participate in new provider onboarding.
- Actively participate in Advanced Practice Provider quarterly meetings.
- Assist with provider chart audits as requested.
- Actively participate in Compliance meetings.
- Assist with the implementation and execution of physician peer review committee.
- Develop and manage the clinical department budget, including staffing costs, supplies, and equipment.
- Recommend, implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of patient care, including data analysis and performance metrics.
- Acting point of contact for clinical inspections and audits by federal, state and local authorities.
- Maintain adherence to all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, administrators, managers, and ancillary departments, to coordinate practice improvement projects.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Division Director of Clinical Pharmacy is responsible for clinical pharmacy activities at all HCA facilities within the division to include but not limited to: Clinical initiatives that impact drug utilization, clinical education and staff development, management of appropriate drug utilization, drug spend analysis, and quality improvement activities. Provides support for all clinical activities at division facilities, centralized order entry center and consolidated pharmacy.
**What you will do in this role:**
+ Develop and oversee standardized clinical pharmacy program for division/facilities
+ Provide guidance to facilities regarding state and federal standards
+ Develop the annual clinical pharmacy business plan that ensures positive patient outcomes and appropriate drug utilization
+ Analyze drug spend trends to identify areas of opportunity and implement the appropriate use/development of protocols and guidelines
+ Prepare the clinical portion of monthly Pharmacy Key Performance Indicator report
+ Maintain effective communication with facility directors and leadership teams on clinical initiatives and facility and division results
+ Ensure pharmacy departments are meeting market share goals
+ Facilitate the review of division ADE/ADR reports to identify trends and process improvement initiatives
+ Serve as the liaison with local pharmacy schools to develop relationships, manage division agreement, and coordinate rotation sites
+ Develop and maintain the clinical portion of the division website
**What Qualifications you will need:**
+ B.S. degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D. is required.
+ Five years' experience as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital/healthcare setting preferred
+ Previous experience as a clinical coordinator or director in large, complex facility preferred.
+ Licensed Pharmacist Required
+ Graduate of an approved residency program Preferred
+ BCPS Certification Preferred
