Job Description

The IT Support Engineer is based in New York, New York, reporting to the Director of IT. The role is responsible for providing day-to-day IT support to our employees and select portfolio companies/affiliated entities, resolving user issues, managing devices, and playing a key role in strengthening IT security protocols. Proficiency in Google and Apple ecosystems is required, as well as an eye for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: -Provide day-to-day support for macOS and iOS users in a 100% Apple environment. -Administer and enforce Kandji MDM policies, including device compliance, zero-touch deployment, and patch management. -Support administration and secure configuration of Google Workspace, including user lifecycle management, OAuth scopes, and admin roles. -Maintain and enhance 1Password for Business usage across the team, with a focus on secure credential storage and best practices. -Champion the implementation/monitoring of 2FA and phishing-resistant authentication methods. -Assist in executing security-related initiatives, including vulnerability remediation, policy updates and vendor access reviews. Monitor systems for anomalies and collaborate on incident response procedures when necessary. -Help implement IT security standards, documentation, and checklists for audits and compliance. -Manage onboarding/offboarding processes with a security-first mindset. -Maintain asset inventory, ensure encryption at rest and in transit, and assist with access audits. -Collaborate with the Director of IT on evaluating new security tools, testing configurations, and maintaining a strong security baseline. Qualifications: -2+ years of experience in IT support or administration, preferably in a security-conscious setting. -Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate clearly and respectfully at all levels. -High level of integrity and discretion; prior role in investment, finance or family office a plus. -Proficiency managing Apple and Google environments in a business setting. -Working knowledge of MDM solutions and enterprise password managers. -Understanding of endpoint security, encryption, MFA and principle of least privilege. -Interest or experience in IT security policy implementation, documentation, and audit readiness. -Based within a commutable distance from Manhattan. -Preferred skills - light scripting experience and/or familiarity with firewall basics. Principal Responsibilities:

Manage client relationships and a team of financial planners and analysts in providing high quality white-glove financial planning and implementation across the following areas:


Advisory Coordinate and Administration



  • Advise, coordinate and manage relationships across multiple client advisers, including attorneys, accountants and bankers to ensure seamless communication and integration of planning.


Financial Statement Preparation



  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to identify trends and planning opportunities or challenges.


Tax Planning and Administration



  • Develop and implement tax efficiency planning strategies and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulation.

  • Prepare and review client tax returns. Estate and Trust Planning

Investment Tracking and Monitoring

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Basic Qualifications:

Advises clients on appropriate investment strategies and constructs and customizes portfolios according to client needs or preferences. Essential Job Functions

Advisory:

  • Responsible for overall portfolio construction and investment strategy needs of clients.
  • Reviews, monitors and modifies investment portfolio construction in accordance with client objectives and investment policy, and initiates portfolio construction changes consistent with investment strategy.
  • Maintains deep expertise in financial markets and related areas, including alternative investments and third party solutions, while also participating on or contributing to various investment meetings and committees.
  • Proactively engages with clients to ensure that our investment advice is fully meeting their needs by communicating changes in their portfolio, new ideas to supplement achievement of their goals, and important market events.
  • Actively engages with the relationship management team in relationship reviews and offers ideas and strategies to actualize client aspirations and further position Key as the client's trusted advisor.
  • Interfaces with other Key Private Bank advisors and team members as necessary to ensure investment advice is integrated with all other client plans (tax, estate planning, retirement, etc.).
  • Provide timely feedback to the Relationship Manager and/or Client Experience Manager regarding important/critical events and/or discussions that occur with the client.
  • Confers with clients' other internal and external advisors to provide advice relating to asset allocation and the execution of overall investment strategy.

Growth:

  • This position is responsible for either meeting or exceeding assigned individual growth goals which can include qualified lead development, expanding existing client relationship revenue, and contributing significantly to attaining team growth goals.
  • Contributes to broadening and deepening client relationships to drive new revenue growth in support of individual book or market growth goals.
  • In conjunction with other members of the relationship team, meets and communicates with clients, prospective clients, and centers of influence, fostering business relationships to develop new business referrals and to enhance the Community Bank's image.
  • Participates in professional associations to demonstrate professional credibility and expand Center of Influence (COI) relationships.
  • Is well versed in, and can articulate the competitive advantages of the Key Private Bank platform and process as a Portfolio Strategist.
  • Shares intellectual capital with the Relationship Management Team as part of the pre-call and weekly sales meeting

Administration:

  • For select relationships, implements investment portfolio changes to execute strategy.
  • Effectively utilizes centralized resources in support of portfolio construction and client service activities, ultimately transitioning portfolio rebalancing, trading, and administrative activities for all client portfolios to centralized teams.
  • Maintains compliance with all internal policies and procedures, including but not limited to, Reg 9 reviews and other compliance reporting functions.
Required Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in a business-related field.
  • 15 years of experience in the investment management field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong client focus.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a sales and client servicing team.
  • Experience and proven success in an open architecture environment.
  • Progress towards advanced degree or professional certification.

Hold self and direct reports responsible for achieving developmental goals Mentor and coach junior team members. Professional Development: Participate in training programs and professional development activities to enhance technical knowledge and develop industry-specific expertise.
