**Responsibilities**
+ Oversees and implements new procedures and digital enhancements to streamline processes and increase compliance by leveraging Lean Six Sigma, Agile, and other project management principles
+ Provides continuous improvement guidance and facilitates process improvement activities to help achieve company objectives
+ Leads process improvement projects to gain efficiency and financial benefits, delivering cost savings for SCE
+ Develops and reviews financial benefit models for major process improvement projects
+ Delivers innovative business process solutions that capitalize on technology and increase efficiency
+ Develops models and reports to track business performance and goal progress and facilitates the design and development of business systems and processes
+ Partners with key functional teams to identify, manage, and execute multiple complex cross-functional process improvement initiatives
+ Prepares detailed reports and presentations to present findings and recommendations to senior management
+ Oversees the execution of key milestones, status, and quality of deliverables. Guide the successful completion of programs, projects and initiatives.
+ A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Seven or more years of experience with business process improvement or operational excellence initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Organizational/Change Management, Data/Analytics, or related field; master's a plus.
+ 5+ years leading cross‑functional initiatives or programs with demonstrated influence on scope, planning, implementation and outcomes.
+ Proficient Excel and PowerPoint; proven ability to transform analysis into executive‑ready narratives, dashboards, and presentations.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot to enable business‑led automation.
+ Experience partnering with IT on technology integration; literacy with ERP/enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP/Work‑Management/GIS) is a plus.
+ Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences; comfortable prepping leaders for forums and decisions.

+ This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. - VP of Customer Execution and Program Office
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or business transformation, with a focus on Quote-to-Order and Order-to-Cash process lifecycles, AND specifically on Customer Project Deployments.
- Proven track record in leading Lean or Six Sigma projects (Black Belt preferred) with tangible impact on cycle times, cost savings, or quality.
- Deep understanding of complex order management, fulfillment logistics, and invoicing/billing processes, ideally in a global or matrixed organization.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), process mining, workflow automation tools, and data analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to drive alignment across technical and non-technical teams.
- Results-driven, analytical mindset with a passion for solving operational challenges and delivering customer value.

Job Description
Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is a multidisciplinary research institution engaged in science and engineering on behalf of national security. You will work within the Engineering Division and Modern Manufacturing Methodologies Group, a world-leading team in modern manufacturing techniques, risks analysis/management, and systems engineering. In this position, you will be a part of a cross-disciplinary collaboration working on a groundbreaking R&D to create solutions to complex problems. In this position you will develop process models and perform discrete event simulations to optimize processes and efficiency.
We are looking for enthusiastic engineers/scientists with mathematical, statistical, and process simulation skills. LANL team members will support and enrich your research and professional goals through their outstanding breadth and depth of expertise in their respective fields. **What You Need**
**Minimum Job Requirements:**
+ Ability to create process models through the application of discrete-event simulation as the modeling methodology within an industrial setting using readily available commercial software
+ Ability to perform discrete-event simulations and analyze the output data derived from simulation models using readily available mathematical and statistical software
+ Experience creating and developing experiments within the discrete-event environment to better understand decision-making and "what-if" scenarios
+ Demonstrated skills in a programming language
+ The ability to work and communicate effectively in a diverse team environment
+ Self-motivated and independent researcher who has demonstrated experience as part of an interdisciplinary team
+ Ability to obtain a Q Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship
**Education/Experience:**
Doctoral Degree in Industrial Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM field of engineering, math, or physics.
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ A record of achievement through reports, publications, intellectual property, and/or technical products
+ Publications in refereed journals and a history of successful research in collaborative team environments
+ Experience developing multi-scale models and/or in uncertainty quantification and data fitting
+ Familiarity working with "big" datasets and working knowledge of machine learning tools
