**What you'll be doing as a** **Production Associate** **:**
+ Operating machinery: Running equipment used in the magnesium recycling process, which is highly automated
+ Inspecting materials: Visually checking materials and finished products, like alloy ingots, for quality to ensure they meet the stringent ASTM and customer specifications
+ Handling raw materials: Moving raw materials and finished products around the facility
+ A forklift operator is a specialized production role at the plant
+ Maintaining the work area: Keeping the production floor clean and safe, adhering to all environmental, health, and safety protocols
+ General assembly and packaging: Assembling, inspecting, and packaging finished products for shipment

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening)

GE HealthCare, Noblesville is looking to add experienced manufacturing and repair technicians to our team supporting the manufacture, configuration, refurbishment, and repair of world-class Ultrasound machines.
This position is responsible for performing all activities related to the production of ultrasound components and subassemblies in accordance with established processes. This position also performs all shipping and receiving functions for the assigned product line including packaging and transportation of finished goods and raw materials. This position will have access to information concerning suppliers, customers, and manufacturing operations.

As a General Fabrication Associate, you will be at the forefront of the manufacturing process, preparing sheet metal parts for assembly. You will be tasked with either Nut Cert or Punch Out roles, integral parts of our production line.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform Punch Out tasks by working with sheet metal from a laser cutting machine, punching out metal parts and stacking them for further processing.
+ Execute Nut Cert tasks by drilling holes, inserting nuts and bolts, and preparing parts for the assembly area.
+ Assist in rotating between Nut Cert and Punch Out tasks, subject to training and business needs.
+ Support assembly and potentially help load parts into the paint booth as required.
+ Adhere to safety protocols and maintain high-quality standards in all tasks.
**Essential Skills**
+ Previous experience in a job requiring standing for at least 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week.
+ Ability to repetitively lift 20-25lb parts, up to 50+ times per day.
+ Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.
+ Ownership of steel-toed or composite-toed protective shoes.

PPE such as steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, protective cut sleeves, and cut gloves are required, along with pants made of cotton, canvas, or denim.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Noblesville, Indiana near Ruoff Music Center.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is 18.00 - 19.00/hr.

**Job Description**
**Responsibilities**
+ Comply with all Quality Management System requirements and applicable laws/regulations
+ Properly utilize controlled, released documentation to perform all work tasks and processes
+ Meet and maintain all required training records and comply with all site safety policies
+ Evaluate and identify damaged components, order replacement parts, and create work orders
+ Disassemble, systems, clean all components, and repair/replace damage parts
+ Complete any required service corrective actions and system software/hardware upgrades
+ Reassemble systems and install required options and accessories
+ Verify correct system operation through diagnostic and functional tests
+ Record all test results and update Device History Records for each piece of equipment
+ Identify, segregate, and disposition/redirect product that fails acceptance criteria
+ Maintain accurate inventory records including status/location of parts and systems
+ Maintain tools and test equipment properly and ensure calibrations are complete
+ Drive product quality by identifying manufacturing issues and assist with corrections
+ Work with engineers, team, and site leaders to improve process quality and efficiency
+ Focus on improving on-time delivery and overall customer outcomes/experience
**Required Qualifications**
