**The Job You Will Perform:**
We are looking for motivated individuals who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. As a Production Worker in any position, we will train you on all aspects of your job and you can look forward to opportunities for advancement in your future.
**JOB DUTIES:**
**Primary duties of a Production Worker in any position include, but are not limited to:**
+ Following all safety rules and practices, including the lockout/tagout program on each piece of machinery they are qualified to operate
+ Operating production machinery
+ Operating touch screen controls to monitor the production process, and interfacing with a computer to enter data into various software platforms (such as work orders or other plant metrics)
+ Reading factory work orders, product spec sheets, and other documents to learn customer requirements
+ Consistent quality and count inspection of a product, which includes identifying and segregating nonconforming (reject/scrap) products and materials, and documenting and reporting all quality assurance checks as instructed
+ Safety operating a forklift to load/unload production lines, to transport and stage materials as needed (pallets, endclosures, PVA), or to assist with shipping as needed
+ Accurately completing time sheets reports, lists, and other records
+ Regularly perform scheduled operator preventative maintenance and general housekeeping responsibilities
**The Skills You Will Bring:**
**Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:**
+ High school degree or GED (or equivalent experience) preferred
+ Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
+ Prior experience in the corrugated manufacturing industry or food manufacturing industry _highly preferred_
+ Stable work history and good attendance record
+ Must be willing to work a five day work-week shift schedule and weekend overtime as required (sometimes with short notice)

Position Summary:

The Warehouse / Production Worker performs independent and production line jobs associated with a variety of basic assembly, sorting, and filling operations. The Production Worker performs job functions as described by organizational needs, operating the specified equipment, or following production procedures as instructed. They will also perform assigned tasks and functions in accordance with established safety procedures.

Ability to work as a floater on any project, may use hand tools, hammers, screwdrivers, air tools, and other power tools, etc.; understands moderate to complex directions and works productively and meets quality standards. Displays self-initiative. Understand & follows security requirements/controls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand verbal and written production orders to perform task assigned. Performs light assembly, packaging, and material handling duties in a warehouse environment. May require use of pallet jack after proper training.
  • Under the direction of the Supervisor, assists with participant training, quality control of products, and setup/tear down of jobs. Moves materials and/or products to/from work area to complete job assignments.
  • Utilize stretch wrap and sealing machines.
  • Utilizes various hand tools.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • General Warehouse duties.
  • Must meet established standards of quality and productivity with/without supervision.
  • Must be able to work with diverse groups of people and often in a teamwork setting.
  • May be rotated into different jobs after several weeks.
  • Must be able to maintain a good attendance record.


Qualifications:

  • Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time.
  • Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.
  • Good hand dexterity.
