Production Line Workers are responsible for maintaining quality of food and documentation for food production line, ensuring proper production and packaging with quality, speed and accuracy, communicating with staff on quality issues, identifying potential problems, and working in a fast-paced production line. Production Line Workers are proficient in one or more positions on the production line that doesn't include machine operation or mixing, and are able to work reliably with little supervision.
As a Production Line Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Accurately measure and prepare food ingredients used in mass produced food products
- Work on a fast-paced and continuous production line
- Read labels, recipes and work orders in English
- Ability to complete assigned paperwork such as recording lot numbers
- Will frequently perform sanitation on line equipment, parts and surrounding environment
- May require cross-training on various line positions and job rotation
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- The ability to work overtime hours
- Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with and train fellow team members
- Ability to lift and carry 25 to 50 lbs. repeatedly

**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate heading machinery for forging steel rods.
+ Heat steel rod ends to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit using induction heating coils.
+ Place heated rods in heading machine to form hex heads.
+ Inspect finished parts for quality once cooled.
+ Adhere to safety protocols, wearing provided PPE.
+ Lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day while handling steel rods.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is very clean for a machine shop and housed in an enclosed but uninsulated building/pole barn. It can get cooler in winter and warmer in summer. The shop maintains a friendly and laid-back atmosphere. Regular swing shift hours are from 2:30 PM to 11 PM, Monday to Friday, with initial training scheduled from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $24.50/hr.

**Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities**
+ Practice and follow all required safety regulations as outlined in the Ann Sacks SafetyOrientation Handbook
+ Maintain work area. Keep equipment, tools, and workspace in clean and safe working condition.
+ Operates kilns; loading, unloading, starting, filling out daily kiln logs.
+ Job requires repetitive lifting of up to 30 pounds.
+ Loading and loading tiles.
+ Keeping daily kiln logs updated.
+ Inspect products for quality control.
+ Cross trains in setup, packaging, and roller hearth operations to be able to support production needs on night shift.
+ Responsible for returning all pulled bisque back into stock.
+ Other duties as assigned by supervisor to support meeting factory production goals.
