1st Shift Press: 7am-3:30pm
3rd shift Press: 11pm - 7:30am
- Operate press machines safely and efficiently
- Conduct quality inspections of finished parts
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Stand and perform repetitive tasks for the duration of the shift

PRIMARY DUTIES:
* Follow all safety rules and practices.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

* Ability to crouch and/or kneel when required.
* Ability to navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend and kneel thorough the entire shift.

* Must have Machine Operator experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
* 2 years of manufacturing experience in the last 5 years.
* Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions and other duties as assigned.
* Must possess strong computer skills and apply use of technology in the workplace.

**PRS Facility Location:**
Cleveland, OH Trackworks - 441
**Job Purpose:**
Competitive starting pay range $20-$2.50/hr, eligible 1.00 increase at 1 year, quarterly production bonus 200- 500, and full benefits from day one!
1st shift 4:30 am to 1pm or 5:00 am to 1:00 pm
2nd Shift 4pm to 12:30 am ( 1.50 shift differential after completing training on 1st shift 6 to 8 weeks.)

Progress Rail Machine Operators work with heavy machinery producing railroad track components. They maintain equipment to ensure it operates safely and effectively. Their duties include preparing machinery for daily use, inspecting machinery for safety issues, and producing quality full track panels, turnouts and crossings, as well as build other rail components to customer specifications.

**Key Job Elements:**
- Read/interpret drawings/part specifications and verify/adjust speeds and feeds for optimum machining.
- Make necessary offset changes to be within allowable tolerances
- Change inserts
- Verify conformance of part to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as, scales, calipers, micrometers and fixed gauges; Fill out inspection reports as required
- Clean machined parts to ensure ready for assembly
- Report all issues in regard to tooling and setup to the supervisor
- Keep a clean, organized and safe workplace
- To be punctual, and act in accordance with company policies and procedures
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- Minimum 3 to 12 months CNC multi-axis machine operator experience preferred;
- Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision;
- Must be able to read and write legibly and complete production reports with accuracy;
- Must be able to read and use tape measure;
- Strong attention to detail with ability to inspect rail using measuring devices;
- Must be quality oriented and a team player;
- Must have complete understanding of safe work practices.

Employees work either individually or as a team in the manufacturing and distribution of sofas, loveseats, and chairs. This job requires manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and attention to detail to meet high-quality standards. 1 year of experience is required.
Summary of essential job functions:
- Use the sewing machines in the manufacturing process
- Experienced Upholstery Sewer
- Must be able to operate a walking foot sewing machine and other specialty machines.
- Comfortable working with a sewing machine and related equipment
- Monitor the production process
- Carry out basic quality and testing checks
- Maintain work areas and equipment
- Inform management if problems arise
- Other duties to be performed as directed by supervisor(s)
Additional Requirements:
- Must have 1 year of experience working on a sewing machine.
- Previous fast paced manufacturing experience strongly
- Must have good hand-eye coordination
- Must perform job with safety as top priority
- Must be able to bend and lift parts throughout shift
- Must be able to stand on feet for entire shift (8 – 10 hours per day)
- Ability to show up to work on-time, every day, and take direction from supervisor(s) in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs repetitively on a daily basis
