In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Ensure inventory integrity in the pick locations through cycle count process.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.

  • Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.

Responsibilities

The Technical Lead A role is an advanced level machine technician that would be responsible for fully understanding an assigned machine center, while being fully capable of performing minor repairs, PMs and troubleshooting and the machine. This role will build necessary capabilities to take on a mechanic level role at full development.

Responsibilities:

• Support operators through troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing equipment

• Learn and understand all SOPs for mechanic level and operator level positions

• Be familiar to operate all equipment to include normal running parameters, set points, etc

• Execute work orders including special projects, rebuilds and installations when requested

• Work with a sense of urgency to repair and startup the line as quickly as possible

• Develop a working knowledge of basic maintenance principles

• Intermediate electrical troubleshooting

• Execute PMs during planned stoppages to include focus on project work installation, tag closure, standard procedure creation, and work order execution

• Work with vendors as needed for start up, improvement and modification of equipment

• Train operators on equipment standards and technical training modules as needed

• Understand losses of equipment and develop plans to reduce downtime based on highest loss machine per line

• Vacation support for senior production technicians (crew leads)

- Implementing the guidelines and objectives of the Site Manager for your scope of responsibility into SQCDP (Safety - Quality - Cost - Delivery - People) operational objectives in line with other Production Line Managers.
- Ensuring that products are repaired in terms of quality and quantity to meet customer order requirements within the set deadlines and costs
- Managing and planning the resources of the repair production lines around a workload / capacity tool in terms of repair production resources and staff (quantities and competencies). Anticipating the needs related to the ramp-up of the repair production tool.
- Identifying training needs, defining training initiatives to ensure the development of the team, and contributing to employee career management.
- Managing the skills and training of the teams to guarantee the quality of operations
Implementing effective communication within the team/repair production lines by ensuring communication routines to maintain a good social climate.
- Promoting the functioning of the teams in line with the leadership model principles.
Responsible for ensuring that employees comply with all Policies and Procedures
Operational Focus / Managing performance:
- Monitoring the performance indicators of the repair production lines in relation to the monthly targets and developing continuous improvement plans (improvement project): 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, etc.

**Shift Differential:** 6%-8% of the base hourly rate for applicable hours worked
Responsibilities
The Technical Lead A role is an advanced level machine technician that would be responsible for fully understanding an assigned machine center, while being fully capable of performing minor repairs, PMs and troubleshooting and the machine. This role will build necessary capabilities to take on a mechanic level role at full development.
Responsibilities:
- Support operators through troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing equipment
- Learn and understand all SOPs for mechanic level and operator level positions
- Be familiar to operate all equipment to include normal running parameters, set points, etc
- Execute work orders including special projects, rebuilds and installations when requested
- Work with a sense of urgency to repair and startup the line as quickly as possible
- Develop a working knowledge of basic maintenance principles
- Intermediate electrical troubleshooting
- Execute PMs during planned stoppages to include focus on project work installation, tag closure, standard procedure creation, and work order execution
- Work with vendors as needed for start up, improvement and modification of equipment
- Train operators on equipment standards and technical training modules as needed
- Understand losses of equipment and develop plans to reduce downtime based on highest loss machine per line
- Vacation support for senior production technicians (crew leads)
