Job Description
+ Performs set-up of press including identifying and loading correct stock, setting correct paper path and stretch, mounting plates, die registration, making appropriate adjustments to the ink and water levels, assuring accurate single-color register and setting up any attribute functions, e.g. perforations, number, file holes, thermo unit, etc.
+ Determine and understand all order instructions and running of press productively while, meeting job requirements of ink density, ink and water balance, color matching, and required attributes at a quality level that meets or exceeds our customer's expectations.
+ T roubleshoot mechanical breakdowns; demonstrate the ability to make adjustments to the equipment including blanket changes, wash up units, cleaning water system and roller settings as required.
+ Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance and cleaning to ensure a quality product to customer as required. Understand all press controls and demonstrate their use.
Basic Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications (PQs) :
HS/GED with 1 year printing experience with similar equipment.
Familiar with product, equipment, printing process, and ink usage.
Mechanical ability to operate and maintain press. Basic math, reading and computer skills.
Compensation
The compensation range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00 hourly. This position will be eligible for an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.

The Machine Operator - Production is responsible for operation and maintenance of diamond technology and equipment supporting Tiffany Diamond Divisions Operations.
**Key Accountabilities:**
Operator:
+ Operate Laser inscription equipment. Maintain the accuracy and quality of inscription process on all Tiffany & Co. diamonds according to established procedures and CODC guidelines.
+ Support risk mitigation utilizing current technology equipment according to established procedures.
+ Support processing for all qualifying diamonds into Grading Lab complete evaluation for standard proportions according to TGL procedures utilizing Sarine technology. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of Sarine output while controlling the upload of data into JDE.
+ Support the sizing and sorting of diamonds utilizing technology equipment according to established procedures and provide results data where needed.
Maintenance:
+ Perform adjustments and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal machine performance as needed and in accordance with established procedures.
+ Coordinate routine performance maintenance according to schedule and record according to established process.
+ Communicate equipment issues promptly to leadership and Sr. Engineering Technician, escalating as needed, and troubleshoot to resolve problems.
+ Maintain professional communication when working with vendors to resolve machine performance issues.
Training:
+ Lead training sessions around machine operation and identifying issues with machine output.
+ Create and maintain SOP documentation through various mediums to reflect ongoing process enhancements and ensure alignment across departments.
General Operations:
+ Provide support to TCO/Laurelton partners as needed in efforts to resolve equipment issues.
+ Support continuous improvement initiatives through the identification of process improvements and communicate suggestions to management.
+ As requested, assist with various projects and tasks associated with Diamond Division initiatives.
Safety:

Hours: Mon-Fri 1st shift 6:15 AM - 2:30 PM, 2nd shift 2:15 PM - 10:30 PM, 3rd Shift 10:15 PM - 6:30 AM
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Operate vial filling machines, fabrication machines, and/or secondary packaging equipment including labels and semi-automatic packaging equipment.
+ Meet established scrap rate goals.
+ Clean and set up manufacturing/packaging equipment.
+ Assure appropriate calibration stickers are current.
+ Record all necessary documentation in appropriate logbooks and batch records.
+ Communicate with IPC Operator and Supervisor on all issues concerning quality, components, and machine performance.
+ Palletize completed work and transport to warehouse as necessary.
+ Complete downtime log accurately and contemporaneously.
+ Assure that all reconciled labeling; e.g. pouch stock, inserts, shipper labels and waste is properly accounted for.
+ Communicate mechanical issues and other Production information with incoming and outgoing shifts.
+ Knowledgeable of all appropriate SOP's and their practical application.
Qualifications:
+ Must be able to successfully pass a respirator fit test to wear periodically
+ Prior Pharma packaging experience required
+ Ability to be gowned for manufacturing - wear safety glasses, hearing protection, full face/half mask respirator, latex gloves, Tyvek suit
+ Must possess good manual dexterity and visual acuity, basic reading, writing, verbal and math skills
+ Must be able to lift and move 25-49lbs throughout shift
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
