**Pay Details:** 15.50 to 17.00 per hour

POSITION OVERVIEW
Provides support to wax assembly to ensure production targets are achieved. Operators will rotate thru sprue injection, plate making and Workcell job preparation (Kitting) in both DS and Equiax applications.

- Fill sprue presses with wax.
- Read and interpret all setup drawings.

Job Summary
This position removes ceramic cores and quartz tubes from the castings.
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Expected to assist in the implementation of EHS Values and policy statements and accompanying principals.
- Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report all job related illness and injuries (Per Employee Handbook).
- Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
- Attend all EHS training.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Removes ceramic cores and quartz tubes from castings using caustic solutions, heated and pressurized to predetermined specifications.
- Processes castings for subsequent inspection by the use of acids or other chemical solutions in accordance with predetermined specifications.
- Mixes, neutralizes, cleans, and refills vessels containing acid or caustic solutions.
- Maintains own production and other records as required.
- Maintains work area in a neat, clean, orderly, and safe condition.
- Follows all applicable safety rules. Works in a safe manner at all times.
- Performs other duties as might be assigned by supervision.
- Performs all post core removal cleaning operations, i.e.; performs waterhone, acid rinse, oven dry, barascope etc.
- Using crane loads and unloads castings into baskets for core removal process to specific instructions.
- Load leaching autoclave by operating mobile equipment
- Operate and maintain leach autoclaves and related equipment
- Maintains identity of castings through all operations.
- Performs process check on caustic solutions
- Position involves working in pairs and hence the weight limits listed are calculated accordingly

The final Inspection position performs a full inspection of parts as outlined in work instructions or customer specifications. Must maintain UT Ultra Sonic Reading per customer requirements. This job is a certified Position that will perform all work cell operations.

Performs belting, stoning, buffing operations to remove visual imperfections beyond customer specifications.
Responsible for visual integrity & gaging & repair of pitch, chord width, & trailing edge thickness
Maintains records as required.
Maintains work area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
Must be able to read & understand finishing visual instructions.
Responsible for verifying routers are correct before working the job
Operates sandblast, tumbling, vibratory or REM equipment to clean metal
castings of scale, foreign material and discoloration to produce a smooth
surface.
Performs 100% visual inspection per product criteria or customer specifics.
