JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Responsible for operating machinery that produces metal roofing components for customers in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to produce basic products without supervision and know when to ask for assistance. Understand that safety and quality are essential to success in our manufacturing shop. You must be a team player; some of our products are ordered the same day the customer receives them.

  • Must understand the workflow of the metal roofing and related components manufacturing process to be able to complete all tasks in an orderly and timely manner to meet customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrate the willingness to be cross trained on all machines in the shop and always follow specific directions and instructions to produce orders correctly
  • Setup machinery with little assistance to perform requested operations for customer orders requiring the ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills
  • Constantly work safely and comply with all safety regulations
  • Operate machines to produce the correct items for orders while standing in an upright position for extended periods of time and moving about on foot
  • Will be trained to use forklift to transport heavy weight metal coils
  • Willingness to participate daily in shop cleaning responsibilities
Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in fabrication/manufacturing is preferred
  • Ability to maintain a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
  • Must have a high attention to detail to consistently produce quality product
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
  • The physical demands of the job include standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, crouching, and near acuity

Job Summary:

Router Operators are responsible for making sure the specifics of a job that needs cutting on a large router are understood and followed prior to cutting printed work. Functions require fine cuts using large machinery. Functions require an eye for detail to ensure that finished print jobs are cut to specification. The position is responsible for meeting efficiency and quality standards for each job.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take printed stock and cut to the proper dimensions as called for on the production order
  • Operate a large router to make details custom cuts for various types of printed stock
  • Read work order and verify all fabrication that needs to be accomplished before cutting has been completed prior to beginning the cutting process
  • Cut in accordance with priorities set by leadership
  • Report any issues or problems relating to signage to be cut to management
  • Report any issues or problems relating to machine operational abilities to management and/or maintenance

**Pay Range $21.55 - $23.65**
**Night Shift: 12 hr rotating schedule / 7pm - 7am**
**Qualifications, Education and Experience:**
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ **Experience in manufacturing or related field assisting or operating a machine for a minimum of 2 years.**
+ **Must be mechanically inclined.**
+ Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
+ Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
+ Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
+ Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.

**Work Environment**
Work primarily in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Hearing protection, safety shoes, vision protection and other necessary PPE as required. May be exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, inks, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area.

General Description 

This position is responsible for the sewing of products produced on the flatbed and circular knitting machines.     


Duties/Responsibilities  

Cuts and sews compressogrip sleeves, shrinkers, humerals, ulnars, fractures

Surges the trim in colored thread and inserts label on all socks

Apply bone rings and fold to compressogrip

Tack Torso’s

Presew socks prior to processing

Casting pants and Cast socks

Cuts and sews knee sleeves

Cuts split in pelvic socks

Hems Sterling products

All other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements  

  • No formal education required 

  • 6 Months to 1 year experience
