- Set up and prepare CNC machines for operation by installing and adjusting cutting tools, securing workpieces, and loading programs.

- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine the setup requirements and machining methods.

The operator is responsible for performing abrasive blasting. This position follows standard industry practices and practices safe work habits to ensure production is performed in an efficient and safe manner.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate grit blast equipment
- Maintain flow of components upstream and downstream of the blast booth
- Maintain grit blast pot and safety equipment in good condition
- Abrades surfaces of metal or hard-composition objects to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, and to impart specified finish, using abrasive-blasting equipment: Shovels or pours abrasives, such as sand, grit, or shot of specified grade into machine hopper.
- Masks specified areas of object to protect from abrading action.
- Starts equipment that directs blast or flow of abrasive-laden compressed air, gas, or liquid over surface of parts.
- May examine finished products to ensure conformance to specifications
- Understand the procedure and purpose for abrasive blasting.
- Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.

- Order Fulfillment: Pulling orders, packaging lumber bundles, and preparing shipments for delivery.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operating a forklift to move materials and products around the facility.

Using various equipment, load and unload parts and components from part cleaning machine.
Load and unload tempering ovens.
Inspect parts and components as they come off the machine to ensure that quality standards are being met per Quality guidelines.
Complete paperwork as necessary.
Will be required to debur and wash parts.
Participate in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities within the area. Must be attentive and aware of machine anomalies as they occur.
May be required to train new employees.
Provide feedback (CIP) to all related areas Machining, Assembly, Test and/or Quality.
Cross-train on other functions within the team.

Aiding to the production process by successfully operating all Packaging Machines in The PA2 Value Stream. Machines consists of Algus Clambshell sealing, RF sealing, Hang Tag, Shrink Wrap and Manual Tube Packaging. Each operator must be familiar with operating all parts of the machines. Responsible for gaining and maintaining general knowledge of machines throughout the reciprocating saw blade manufacturing area (PA2). You must have the knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments to the machines when necessary. You are responsible for completing the require training measures (PQ&T's) as they are needed. As a Bosch Associate and as a Machine Operator, you are expected to maintain a positive work environment by following the appropriate safety procedures. You must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours a day and also have excellent use of your hands. Required to meet production standards.
Setting up and operating all components of the machine successfully. Loading reciprocating saw blades, clamshells, cards etc. into machine. Replenishing materials as needed (tape, labels, clams, cards, etc). Placing sealed clamshells into cartons / Loading cartons into machine. Loading / Unloading pallets. Operate pin lift, pallet lift, and hoist. Making the necessary adjustments to run machine efficiently. Reading and following standard operating procedures pertaining to the machine. Detect and determine the appropriate quality standards and measures for each machine. Understanding and following procedures pertaining to machine cleanliness and tool organization. Being willing to operate a variety of machines on an as needed basis.
