What You'll Need to Succeed:

• A sharp eye for detail - you'll be making sure every stitch and seam is just right.
• Great hand-eye coordination - you'll be working with different types of sewing machines and materials.
• The ability to follow written instructions and blueprints with ease.
• A strong sense of responsibility - being on time and dependable is a big deal here.
• Comfort working with machines and staying focused while seated for extended periods.
• A high school diploma or GED - it shows you're ready to learn and follow directions.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operating a variety of sewing machines (like single/double needle, overlock, CNC auto tracker, and more).
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and build plans.
• Staying organized and handling multiple tasks on your own.
• Following all safety and work procedures.
• Learning new skills and growing with us!

What We're Looking For:

• Someone who's detail-oriented and accurate.
• Good with measurements (you'll need to work within 1/16th of an inch).
• Comfortable using rulers and spotting small differences by eye.
• Self-motivated and ready to be part of a great team.

Overview:

Prysmian is growing and expanding Williamsport, a manufacturer of Bare Aluminum Transmission, Distribution and Low Voltage Aluminum Cables for the Utility Industry, will be interviewing for Production Associates. Successful candidates must be flexible to run any machine and/or forklift once trained. Hiring for both day and night crew positions, which will be 12-hour rotating schedules.

• 12-hour Day Shift: 7:00am 7:00pm
• 12-hour Night Shift: 7:00pm 7:00am

Qualifications:

• Proof of High School Diploma or GED is required
• Must be able to clear background, physical and drug screening
• Solid, stable work history with previous industrial experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient in basic math, reading and comprehension of work instructions, and use of a computer.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and participate in safety/quality/production improvement activities.
