Day Shift pay: $22/hr.

**Qualifications/Experience**
+ HS Diploma/GED required
+ Must have slitting and lamination experience
+ Machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment (set ups, basic troubleshoots). Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
+ Must have sit down forklift experience

+ Inserting a 7 ¼ in, 9 in, or 10 in plastic hoses with a corresponding cap into machine
+ Spraying alcohol on the cap
+ Simultaneously pressing the buttons that will piece the hoses and caps together
+ Packaging the hoses in a box
+ Weigh box to ensure it has the right number of pieces and place on a pallet. 20 boxes per pallet.
+ 300 or 400 hoses per box, depending on size of the hose

**Job Description**
**As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a high-speed printing press or other technical machinery. Your role will include implementing time-saving practices to limit downtime, ensuring a quality product is delivered to our customers, and limiting scrap waste. You will be required to understand and follow lock out/tag out procedures, accurately complete production paperwork, mount die boards, assist in machine setup, and perform in-depth machine cleaning as scheduled. A sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment is crucial for this role.**

Must possess sense of urgency in fast paced environment, while working safely
- Limit scrap waste, deliver said waste to proper dept. when scrap truck is full, and accurately tag for waste reporting.
- Collect top and bottom sheets (dunnage) to expedite converting process.
- Practice good lock out/ tag out procedures.
- Follow reporting processes for accurate completion of production paperwork
- Mount die boards, assist in the setup of machine, and keep machine running.
- Read and understand production order copy for every production run, and will assist operator in ensuring quality
+ Understand machine mechanical functionality and conduct in depth cleaning of press when scheduled.

Job Description
The machine operator is responsible for operating food mixing, blending, and packaging machinery in a food manufacturing facility. The role requires understanding, following, and enforcing established safety, health, quality, and company policies, procedures, and recognized practices.
+ Operate and manage food mixing, blending, and packaging machinery.
+ Set up and troubleshoot packaging machines and handle machine changeovers.
+ Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test machinery, and make necessary adjustments.
+ Observe machine operations to ensure product quality and conformity to standards.
+ Regulate machine flow or speed as needed.
+ Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
+ Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience in mixing, blending, and/or packaging machine operation.
+ GMP is essential.
+ Ability to complete changeovers on machinery.
+ Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting experience.
