We are currently looking for an experienced Blow Mold Operator on 2nd shift at our Ayer, MA facility. This position will include:
1. Setting up and operating the blow-molding machine to mold plastic products according to specifications: Turns valves to start flow of water and release air pressure to machine.
2. Move machine controls to set timing unit and temperature of heating unit and start automatic feed mechanism.
3. Performs machine change overs
4. Adjusts machine mandrel and aligns mandrel with mold chamber.
5. Starts molding machine that automatically feeds material from mixing unit to mandrel and to mold chamber.
6. Closes chamber to mold product under heat and pressure.
7. Removes workpiece from mold after timing device opens mold, and trims excess material from workpiece, using knife or bandsaw.
Requirements:
2 plus years related experience and or training
Prior machine operating experience, blow molding or plastic injection machine experience a plus.
Ability to visually identify defective parts.
Must be able to use computer and associated programs.

The Mixer Compounder position is responsible for performing duties to manufacture product. This includes working from batch tickets, established procedures and regulations, operating several mixers, weighing and measuring equipment.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Prepare vessels and equipment for processing by cleaning vessel, setting all valves in correct position and checking all support equipment.
• Charge ingredients into mixing vessels by operating valves on feed lines or pouring from small containers according to the batch ticket.
• Monitor blending process and at specified intervals draw samples and deliver to quality lab for testing.
• Assemble, fill and label drums and totes for shipment. Complete all necessary documentation.
